In this role, you will: design and evolve scalable and resilient distributed systems; guide system integrations across complex environments and act as a bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating requirements into robust architectural solutions. If you’re motivated by complex systems, real trade-offs, and high-impact decisions-we should talk.\nWhat you'll be doing\nArchitecture Development: Define and evolve the target software and solution architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and seamless integration with existing systems\nCloud & IT Architecture: Design and guide cloud architecture and overall IT system architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability\nBridging Role (Brückenkopf): Act as a link between business stakeholders, Product Owners, and development teams to translate requirements into architectural solutions\nMicroservices Architecture: Design and govern microservices architectures to improve scalability, flexibility, and maintainability\nCollaboration: Work closely with client architects and teams to align on architectural standards and decisions\nDocumentation: Maintain clear architectural documentation, including design decisions and system landscapes\nQuality & Governance: Establish best practices for architecture, code quality, testing, and deployment across the lifecycle\nWhat you'll bring along\nA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience\nAround 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on architecture and system design\nProven expertise in software, cloud, IT system, microservices, and solution architecture\nStrong understanding of cloud-native and distributed systems design principles\nExperience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern deployment practices\nKnowledge of messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)\nExperience with build and CI/CD tools (e.g., Maven, automation pipelines)\nSolid experience with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)\nFamiliarity with testing strategies and automation\nStrong communication skills in English and German, with the ability to act as a bridge between teams\nAbility to work independently and manage complex architectural challenges efficiently\n\nDocument\n\nWhat’s in it for you\nNew beginnings can be a challenge.
