If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.\nWe are currently seeking a Java Developer - HYBRID to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).\nDay to Day Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.\nBuild and enhance RESTful APIs and distributed systems for high-performance applications.\nDevelop and optimize database queries, integrations, and data processing using SQL and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA).\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design system architecture, implement new features, and resolve technical challenges.\nImplement event-driven solutions using messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.\nParticipate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality deliverables.\nWork with CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.\nEnsure application security by implementing best practices (authentication, authorization, and data protection).\nMonitor and support applications in production, ensuring high availability and reliability.\nMentor junior developers and contribute to technical design discussions.\nBasic Qualifications:\n7+ years of experience in Java development with strong knowledge of core Java concepts (OOP, multithreading, collections).\n3+ years experience in building REST APIs and backend services.\n3+ years of webservices development\n3+ years of experience with database development, including SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.\n5+ years of production support and debugging\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience\nPreferred Skills:\nHands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices architecture.\nExperience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI/CD).\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.\nStrong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\nExperience with Reactive programming (Spring WebFlux).\nExposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).\nExperience with API security (OAuth2, JWT).\nHands-on experience with cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.\nPrevious technical lead or mentoring experience.\nNTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is 79,480 - 119,220.
