This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals interested in software quality assurance, test automation, Agile delivery, and emerging AI-driven testing capabilities. The successful candidate will assist with validating software applications, executing test cases, documenting defects, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve testing efficiency and quality outcomes.\nJob Duties:\nExecute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.\nReview business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to develop test scenarios and test cases.\nDocument, track, and validate software defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and retrospectives.\nAssist with test data preparation, test execution, and test result reporting.\nSupport Section 508 accessibility testing and compliance verification.\nCollaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and client stakeholders.\nContribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.\nUse approved AI-powered tools to assist with:\nTest case generation\nRequirements analysis\nTest data creation\nDefect investigation\nDocumentation and reporting\nReview and validate AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.\nSupport continuous process improvement initiatives within the QA practice.\nBasic Qualifications:\nMinimum 5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, IT Support, Business Analysis, or related fields.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.\nBasic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.\nKnowledge of testing methodologies and defect management processes.\nExperience through coursework, internships, capstone projects, or professional experience performing software testing activities.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nInternship experience on software development or QA projects.\nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nExposure to Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, or similar testing tools.\nExposure to SQL and database validation.\nExperience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.\nKnowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards.\nFederal consulting or government internship experience.\nMicrosoft Copilot\nChatGPT\nJira/Confluence AI\nGitHub Copilot\nAI-powered testing platforms\nGenerate test cases\nCreate acceptance criteria\nDraft documentation\nAnalyze defects\nImprove testing productivity is highly desirable.\nISTQB Foundation Certification\nCertified Scrum Master (CSM)\nAgile Fundamentals Certification\nMicrosoft Fundamentals Certifications (AZ-900, AI-900)\nNTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $80,000 - $124,806. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. If the position offered in temporary, the position will not be eligible for incentive compensation.
