The role is responsible for designing, governing, and evolving enterprise container platforms, ensuring they remain secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with overall infrastructure and cloud architecture standards. As a senior technical authority, you will support complex escalations and define architectural best practices across the platform landscape.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and govern Kubernetes cluster architectures and container platform standards.\nDefine and maintain highly available and resilient Kubernetes control-plane architectures.\nLead architecture decisions related to service mesh integration, storage integration, networking, security, and platform scalability.\nEstablish operational patterns, governance frameworks, and best practices for containerized environments.\nProvide technical leadership for complex incidents, escalations, and platform challenges.\nEnsure platform security, compliance, reliability, and performance requirements are consistently met.\nCollaborate with infrastructure, cloud, networking, storage, and security teams to align container platforms with enterprise architecture objectives.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives and support the adoption of emerging cloud-native technologies.\nProduce and maintain architecture documentation, standards, and operational guidance.\nRequired Qualifications:\nExtensive experience designing and operating enterprise Kubernetes and container platforms.\nDeep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, container orchestration, platform security, networking, and storage integration.\nExperience with high-availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and resilience design principles.\nStrong understanding of cloud-native technologies, service meshes, observability, and platform governance.\nProven ability to support complex technical escalations and provide architectural leadership.\nExcellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nPreferred Certifications:\nCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)\nCertified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)\nCloud-native architecture certifications focused on Kubernetes design, resilience, and security\nAdditional Security, Network, Storage, or Compute infrastructure certifications are advantageous\nLanguage Requirement:\nGerman language proficiency at minimum B2 level is mandatory.\nThe role requires the ability to participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, incident coordination, service reviews, change management activities, and day-to-day communication with German-speaking stakeholders, customers, and operational teams.\nCitizenship Requirement:\nApplicants must hold Swiss citizenship.\nLocation:\nWinterthur area, Switzerland\nCandidates should be based in, or regularly available within the Winterthur region to support customer engagement, operational alignment, coordination with onsite and remote-hands teams, and participation in architecture, governance, escalation, and service review meetings as required.\nWorkplace type:\nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
