Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Legal Advisor is a seasoned subject matter expert who has a full understanding of their area of specialization.\nThis role works independently on complex legal issues with some guidance and applies their professional know-how to support the achievement of business or corporate objectives.\nThe Legal Advisor devises solutions based on limited information and uses past experience to identify solutions or to adapt existing approaches to resolve issues.\nKey responsibilities:\nProvides general legal support to business and/or operations.\nOffers detailed legal advice and support to management and colleagues on engagements and transactions with clients, suppliers and other 3rd parties.\nSupports the team with the implementation of policies and the dissemination of regulatory information within the assigned operating unit.\nSupports with coordination of litigious matters.\nProvides regular reports on the status of legal issues being dealt with.\nPerforms such legal work as may be assigned by Senior Legal Advisor/Management.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nPossesses legal skillsets and some experience within a specific functional area or legal discipline, in organizations of similar scale and complexity.\nGood interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain good stakeholder relationships.\nGood commercial acumen and skilled at providing advice and legal solutions.\nAbility to engage with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.\nAbility to work in high-pressure situations.\nAbility to manage complex tasks simultaneously.\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Law.\nMay carry specialist qualifications or certifications in specific functional area(s) or legal discipline(s).\nRequired experience:\nSeasoned demonstrated experience in a similar role within a similar global organization.\nSeasoned demonstrable success in providing sound legal advice and support.\nWorkplace type:\nOn-site WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
