If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.\nWe are currently seeking a Mainframe Developer to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).\nJob Responsibilities Include:\nProvide thought & technical leadership for the key initiatives.\nDeveloping and maintaining architecture solutions on a platform dedicated to high scale processing of large amounts of data.\nSetting, communicating, and reinforcing technical standards\nProviding leadership for junior and senior engineers alike, by understanding how to leverage and enhance their current skills\nAssessing and researching current implementations of the platform and determining the course of action required to elevate the platform to meet customer needs.\nWorking with Operations to plan major infrastructure upgrades, to troubleshoot issues and to tune the environment for optimal performance and uptime\nCollaborating with peers and management on process improvement ideas, policy and procedure enhancements, and opportunities to improve our customer's service experience.\nParticipating in code review and unit testing and providing support on issues in non-prod or production\nBasic Qualifications:\n5+ years on CICS, COBOL, DB2, VSAM and JCL.\n5+ years CICS System knowledge would be valuable.\nPreferred Skills:\nGood understanding of CICS Dynamic Transaction Routing process.\nShould be familiar with DB2 tools, File-Aid, scheduler and debugger tools.\nUnderstanding of Distributed Applications/ System\nExposure to Brokerage/Finance domain will be an added advantage\nPrior experience of working in highly transactional, fault tolerant and data driven systems.\nAbility to identify areas of risk or potential problems and take action to mitigate them and work with less experienced staff to mitigate more complex issues.\nAbility to apply different communication and leadership styles for different teams and geographies.\nAbility to lead through influence and know what data is needed to drive effective decisions\nAbility to assess and plan project, and stakeholders needs, and manage deadlines, risks.\nAbility to anticipate roadblocks, diagnose problems and generate effective solutions\nAbility to build communication and rapport with partners, stakeholders.\nAbility to adapt in a changing environment and be effective in many different business settings.\nAbility to take initiative, define vision for betterment of products, and execute at high level of quality\nAbility to plan and work with geographically spread out teams\nStrong presentation and interpersonal skills.\nCuriosity to constantly relearn/explore new processes/technologies\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar subject.\n5+ years of experience in information technology.\nFinancial services experience, preferably in Brokerage Domain\n#L1-NorthAmerica\nNTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $96,800 - $145,200 per annum. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
