Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Networking Managed Services Engineer (L2) is a developing engineering role, responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational through proactively monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems and restoring service to clients.The primary objective of this role is to proactively review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreement (SLA) and focuses on second-line support for incidents and requests with a medium level of complexity.\nThe Networking Managed Services Engineer (L2) may also contribute to / support on project work as and when required.\nWhat you'll be doing\nKey Responsibilities:\nR&S\nComplete knowledge to all Cisco devices\nShould have hardware level trouble shooting knowledge on all Cisco products.\nMust be familiar with - VLAN / VTP / STP / VSS / VDC / VPC.\nMust have sound knowledge in stack configuration / trouble shooting.\nMust be familiar with - OSPF / EIGRP / BGP / PBR / HSRP / ACL.\nHands on experience with IOS/SUP upgradation 5K/7K/9K/4500/6500/ASR/FTD/FMC/SDWAN/ISE/DNAC/Wireless controller.\nShould have knowledge about SDWAN, ISE/ DNAC/ ACI/Wireless\nHands On\nTroubleshooting of complex LAN/WAN infrastructure, Conducting root cause analysis on Network Incident\nTroubleshooting license issues on all Cisco Platforms.\nTroubleshooting IP link related issues like link failure, config mismatch, latency, packet drops.\nExpertise in implementing L2 technologies including VLAN’s, VTP, STP, RSTP, MSTP.\nGood knowledge of IP Addressing, Subnetting, ARP, OSI and TCP/IP models.\nExpertise in implementing routing protocols RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS and BGP.\nConfiguring and Troubleshooting Route Redistribution between Static, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF & BGP protocols.\nExperience in Configuration and Support of LAN protocols on Cisco Switches such as (Layer2, 3 & Multi-Layer).\nExperience with designing, deploying, and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, Ether-channel, IP Routing Protocols - (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP & BGP), ACL's, NAT, VLAN, STP, VTP, HSRP.\n Academic Qualifications and Certifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).\nCCNP or equivalent certification.\nCertifications relevant to the services provided (certifications carry additional weightage on a candidate’s qualification for the role).\nRequired Experience:\nModerate level of relevant managed services experience.\nModerate level knowledge in ticketing tools preferably Service Now.\nWorkplace type:\nOn-site WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
