The role works closely with Business Analysts, Salesforce Developers, Product Owners, and Delivery Teams to validate business requirements and ensure successful delivery of Salesforce functionality across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and related integrations.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nKey Responsibilities\nTest Planning & Strategy\nReview business, functional, and technical requirements.\nDefine test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.\nEstimate testing effort and support delivery planning activities.\nFunctional Testing\nExecute manual testing of Salesforce applications and customisations.\nValidate standard Salesforce functionality and configured processes.\nTest custom Apex developments, Lightning Components, Flows, and integrations.\nVerify end-to-end business processes across multiple systems.\nEnsure all requirements are fully validated before release.\nIntegration Testing\nTest integrations between Salesforce and external applications.\nValidate data flows, API integrations, middleware, and third-party systems.\nVerify data accuracy, consistency, and error handling.\nSupport system integration testing (SIT) activities.\nUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)\nSupport business stakeholders during UAT execution.\nSupport on the UAT test scripts and business scenarios.\nAssist users in defect identification and validation.\nCoordinate retesting and sign-off activities.\nDefect Management\nLog, track, and manage defects through to resolution.\nPerform root cause analysis of identified issues.\nWork closely with Salesforce Developers and Administrators to resolve defects.\nRe-test fixes and validate successful resolution.\nReport defect trends and testing progress.\nRegression Testing\nMaintain and execute regression test packs.\nEnsure new releases do not adversely impact existing functionality.\nSupport release and deployment activities through regression validation.\nTest Automation\nSupport the development and maintenance of automated test scripts where applicable.\nUtilise tools such as, Provar\nContribute to continuous improvement of automated testing capabilities.\nEnvironment & Release Support\nParticipate in deployment readiness reviews.\nValidate pre-production and production releases.\nSupport smoke testing following deployments.\nWork with Environment Managers and Release Managers to ensure test environment readiness.\nReporting & Governance\nProduce regular test status reports and JIRA.\nProvide clear visibility of testing progress, risks, and issues.\nMaintain testing documentation in line with organisational standards.\nStakeholder Management\nWork closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Salesforce Administrators.\nCollaborate with Salesforce Developers to resolve defects and technical issues.\nSupport business users throughout testing cycles.\nCommunicate testing progress, risks, and blockers to project and delivery stakeholders.\nEscalate testing risks or quality concerns that may impact delivery timelines.\nWhat experience you'll bring:\nSkills & Experience\nEssential\nExperience testing Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).\nStrong understanding of Salesforce functionality and configuration.\nExperience creating and executing test plans, test scripts, and test cases.\nKnowledge of Agile methodologies.\nExperience with defect management tools such as Jira\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nDesirable\nExperience with Salesforce Lightning Experience.\nKnowledge of Salesforce APIs and integrations.\nExperience with automated testing tools (Provar)\nUnderstanding of Salesforce Flows, Apex, and custom development.\nSalesforce certifications such as:Salesforce Certified Administrator\nSalesforce Business Analyst\nSalesforce Platform App Builder\nSalesforce Certified AI Associate\n\nKey Deliverables\nTest Scenarios and Test Cases\nDefect Logs and Reports\nRegression Test Packs\nUAT Scripts and Sign-off Documentation\nRelease Validation Reports\nTest Completion Reports\nSuccess Measures\nHigh defect detection rate during testing phases.\nSuccessful completion of UAT and release activities.\nReduction in production defects.\nDelivery of quality Salesforce solutions aligned to business requirements.\nStakeholder satisfaction with testing quality and delivery outcomes.\nCompliance with organisational testing and governance standards.\nWho we are:\nAt NTT DATA, you have endless opportunities to think big, act bold and take ownership.
