Applications provided by the department aim to provide stakeholders with a strategic technology vision, technical expertise, and implementation and support services enabling them to conduct and manage their activities in an innovative, efficient, and effective way.\nJob Profile\nWe’re seeking a QA Automation Engineer, to lead quality assurance efforts and drive test automation initiatives across multiple projects and programs within the department. This role devises test strategies, conducts and/or coordinates tests, and identifies defects to maintain high standards of performance and reliability.\nWhat you’ll do in the role:\nPlay a key role in the QA team by driving testing efforts to ensure successful project deliveries and releases, while establishing and adhering to best-in-class QA processes and tools.\nOwn the full Software Testing Lifecycles, including Functional, Regression, and Performance testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage and quality assurance.\nDesign and implement QA strategies with a strong focus on test automation, leveraging modern tools and practices to enhance product quality and accelerate release cycles.\nCollaborate closely with development teams to embed quality practices within sprints and influence robust quality control throughout the project lifecycle.\nDevelop and maintain test automation frameworks, tools, and best practices to enable agile, integrated QA processes as part of the overall development workflow.\nWhat you’ll bring to the role:\nAt least 7 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role\nOwn the design, implementation, and maintenance of Test Automation Frameworks and components, usage of Playwright, with a preference for BDD-based automation frameworks.\nDemonstrate strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles, test reporting, multithreading, and data structure algorithms.\nExecute comprehensive testing processes, including requirements analysis, test planning, test case development, environment setup, test execution, defect reporting, retesting, regression testing, and test cycle closure.\nUse version control systems such as Git to manage code and collaborate effectively across teams.\nDevelop and maintain UI automation scripts using Selenium for efficient and reliable testing.\nUtilize tools and frameworks for backend/API automation, setting up an effective test automation stack using industry-leading technologies.\nPerform performance testing using appropriate tools and practices to validate system scalability and reliability.\nAdopt DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, to integrate automated testing into the delivery workflow.\nWork with web technologies and CMS platforms, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Launch, and other Adobe products, while leveraging user analytics.\nApply knowledge of accessibility testing using both automated and manual tools to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.\nEnsure functional and performance validation of all release deliverables, including new components, enhancements, and bug fixes.\nDemonstrate reliability as an individual contributor and as part of a distributed team, fostering collaboration across multiple locations.\nShow adaptability, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.\nMorgan Stanley is an equal opportunities employer.
