Expertise extends to robust test automation, leveraging languages like Java.\nWe are looking for an QA Automation Engineer with GCP to create the next big thing in digital banking.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nAnalyze business and technical requirements to gain a deep understanding of data flows, business logic, and system architecture, with a particular focus on database interactions and cloud integrations\nContribute to the creation and implementation of the overall Test Strategy and Test Plans, while taking ownership of defining specific, comprehensive test scenarios for data, application logic, and cloud components\nContribute to test effort estimation and proactively identify risks, particularly those related to data integrity, performance, and scalability on cloud platforms\nDesign, write, and maintain Test Cases to validate data integrity, transformation logic, and the accuracy of reporting outputs across various systems, including Oracle and GCP data services\nCover all aspects of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and End-to-End (E2E), with an emphasis on data-driven and API testing\nCreate and manage the test data required to validate complex scenarios, including large datasets for performance and stress testing in cloud environments\nRigorously execute testing activities, analyze, and document the results in detail, utilizing appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., Java-based automation)\nIdentify, troubleshoot, and document defects in JIRA, providing clear and detailed information for the development teams, including steps to reproduce issues in complex data and cloud architectures\nRetest corrections to ensure defects are fully resolved\nCoordinate testing activities with internal teams, third-party vendors, and business users (UAT Support)Drive adherence to Deutsche Bank's testing standards and promote best practices within the team, particularly in data testing, cloud testing, and test automation\nOrganize monthly demo sessions to present project status to stakeholders\nActively contributes to the continuous improvement of development and testing processes, including fostering a culture of quality and automation\nWhat We’re Looking For\n Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field\nMinimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software testing, with a strong, demonstrated focus on complex data-centric projects and backend systems.\nExpertise in Database Testing: Strong, hands-on experience testing Oracle Databases is mandatory. This includes Data Integrity & Quality Validation, Database Objects Testing, Source-to-Target Validation, and Advanced SQL skills\nCloud Data Platform Experience: Proven experience or strong familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub) and ability to test applications and data pipelines deployed on GCP\nTest Automation & Programming Skills: Solid programming skills in Java for developing robust and scalable test automation frameworks and scripts. Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium WebDriver, REST Assured, JUnit/TestNG leveraging Java\nProven experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC. Excellent knowledge of testing techniques (Black Box, White Box, System, Integration, Regression, Performance, Security). Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools: HP ALM and JIRA\nExcellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)\nAbility to work effectively under pressure with a pragmatic and delivery-focused attitude\nExcellent teamwork, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving skills\nCustomer and service-oriented, with the ability to build effective working relationships with all stakeholders\nNice to have:\nExperience in the financial services industry, with knowledge of Wealth Management or other financial products\nExperience in coordinating UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities\nAn openness and desire to learn and adapt to new technologies, specifically cloud data platforms\nAn interest in or basic knowledge of Test Automation and related tools\n\nDocument\n\nWhat’s in it for you\nNew beginnings can be a challenge.
