You will work across test automation, engineering quality, and AI-enabled accelerators that support delivery teams in improving quality, speed, and efficiency.\nYou will help develop reusable QE assets, frameworks, and tooling, while working closely with engineers, testers, and stakeholders to embed quality earlier in the lifecycle. You will also support the adoption of AI/GenAI capabilities in practical QE use cases such as test generation, defect analysis, and quality reporting.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nDesign, build, test, and maintain quality engineering solutions across the SDLC\nContribute to the development and enhancement of reusable QE assets, accelerators, and automation frameworks\nApply a shift-left approach by helping teams embed quality practices earlier in the development lifecycle\nBuild and support automation across web, API, and non-functional testing\nContribute to AI-enabled QE use cases such as:test case generation\ntest data preparation and augmentation\ndefect analysis\nquality metrics and reporting\nengineering productivity tooling\n\nWork with structured and unstructured data to support AI and quality engineering solutions\nEvaluate the effectiveness of automation and AI-enabled solutions, and recommend practical improvements\nMonitor and report on progress, identify issues, and help resolve delivery and engineering challenges\nCollaborate with developers, product teams, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions\nParticipate in reviews of code, design, and test solutions\nSupport and mentor team members where appropriate, including sharing knowledge of modern QE and AI-assisted engineering practices\nWhat experience you'll bring:\nRelevant experience in software engineering, SDET, Quality Engineering, or test automation roles\nStrong hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test solutions\nExperience contributing to software delivery across the full SDLC, not limited to test execution\nExperience working with at least one modern programming language such as Python (is a MUST), Java, JavaScript/Typescript or C#\nExperience with web, API, and non-functional testing approaches\nExperience using CI/CD pipelines to integrate and run automated tests\nGood understanding of object-oriented programming principles and modern engineering practices\nExperience working with Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\nGood written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work independently under general direction and collaborate effectively as part of a team\nAI / GenAI experience\nWe are looking for someone with practical experience or strong exposure to AI-enabled engineering solutions, ideally in testing, automation, or developer productivity use cases.\nThis may include experience with:\nAI application patterns\nRetrieval-Augmentation Generation (RAG)\nprompt engineering\ntool calling\nagentic workflows\nevaluation of LLM-based outputs\nFrameworks and orchestration\nLangChain\nLangGraph\nCrewAI\nModels and platforms\nOpenAI and/or Azure OpenAI\nVector search and retrieval\nWeaviate or equivalent vector database technology\nData and model support\nselecting and preparing data for AI-enabled solutions\nevaluating model or workflow outputs\nidentifying opportunities to improve data quality and model effectiveness\nTypical QE use cases\ntest generation\ndefect analysis\nquality reporting\nknowledge retrieval\nengineering support tooling\nExperience with fine-tuning LLMs is beneficial but not required.\nNice to have\nExperience with contract testing frameworks, preferably Pact\nExperience building end-to-end automation frameworks from scratch\nExperience deploying Python services using frameworks such as Django or FastAPI\nFamiliarity with Gunicorn\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Entra ID\nExperience with browser-based agent tooling such as Browser Use\nExperience contributing to reusable internal tools, accelerators, or QE assets\nExperience mentoring junior engineers or supporting capability uplift within a team\nWho we are:\nAt NTT DATA, you have endless opportunities to think big, act bold and take ownership.
