The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, IT risk management, audit readiness, and cross-functional project leadership.\nThis role is responsible for managing end-to-end SOX control implementation programs, partnering with Internal Audit, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Software Engineering, and Business teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. The successful candidate will drive project execution, oversee risk monitoring activities, and ensure controls are effectively designed, implemented, tested, and maintained.\nKey Responsibilities\nSOX Compliance & Control Implementation\nLead and oversee complex SOX onboarding initiatives and IT control implementations from planning through successful delivery.\nEnsure projects align with Internal Audit requirements, SOX compliance standards, and organizational governance policies.\nCollaborate with control owners, auditors, and business stakeholders to establish and maintain effective internal controls.\nSupport control design, implementation, testing, remediation, and continuous improvement activities.\nPrepare and maintain documentation related to SOX controls, audits, and compliance assessments.\nTechnology Project Leadership\nManage multiple technology and compliance initiatives simultaneously, ensuring successful execution within scope, schedule, and budget.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams including Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, and business stakeholders.\nDevelop project plans, milestones, risk registers, and status reporting for executive leadership.\nFacilitate stakeholder meetings, track dependencies, and resolve project issues and risks.\nEnsure compliance-related deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.\nRisk Monitoring & Governance\nAssess potential threats, vulnerabilities, and operational risks impacting information technology systems and infrastructure.\nDevelop and implement risk monitoring strategies that support SOX compliance objectives.\nIdentify gaps in controls and recommend remediation plans to reduce compliance and operational risks.\nPartner with audit and security teams to ensure ongoing compliance and control effectiveness.\nMonitor regulatory changes and recommend enhancements to governance and control frameworks.\nSecurity & Control Architecture\nEvaluate security logging architectures to support audit and compliance requirements.\nReview secure application designs and technology implementations for alignment with security and compliance standards.\nPartner with technical teams to ensure appropriate logging, monitoring, and control mechanisms are implemented.\nSupport the deployment and optimization of SOX governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) vendor tools.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in B.Tech, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.\n5+ years of experience in technology project management, SOX compliance, IT controls, audit, risk management, or related disciplines.\n5+ years of enterprise-level SOX onboarding and control implementation projects.\n5+ years of experience understanding of SOX compliance requirements, internal controls, audit processes, and governance frameworks.\n5+ years of experience managing cross-functional technology and business teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong knowledge of IT risk management, compliance monitoring, and control lifecycle management.\nExcellent project management, communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.\nExperience with security logging architecture and centralized monitoring solutions.\nKnowledge of secure application design principles and cybersecurity best practices.\nHands-on experience with SOX compliance tools, GRC platforms, and vendor management solutions.\nFamiliarity with industry frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, COSO, and ITGC controls.\nProfessional certifications such as:\nPMP\nCISA\nCRISC\nCISSP\nCISM\nCGEIT\nKey Skills\nCompliance & Governance\nSOX Compliance\nIT General Controls (ITGC)\nInternal Controls\nAudit Management\nRegulatory Compliance\nGovernance & Risk Management\nProject Leadership\nTechnology Project Management\nCross-Functional Team Leadership\nProgram Coordination\nStakeholder Management\nBudget & Timeline Management\nRisk & Issue Management\nSecurity & Risk\nRisk Monitoring\nSecurity Logging Architecture\nSecure Application Design\nCybersecurity Controls\nVulnerability & Threat Assessment\nCompliance Monitoring\nTools & Technologies\nSOX Vendor Tools\nGRC Platforms\nAudit Management Solutions\nSecurity Monitoring Tools\nReporting & Documentation Platforms\nNTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $105,840 - $196,000 per year.
