Team Lead (Node.JS&Angular)

Who we are

We are looking for a Technical Team Lead to coordinate the day-to-day work of our platform development squads. This profile will combine technical leadership with operational follow-up, ensuring that the product strategy defined, planning and key items are prioritized, assigned, executed, and communicated effectively.

The role will act as the main technical and operational point of coordination for the squad, working closely with Product, Support, Development, Architecture, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Quality Assurance. The Team Lead will maintain delivery visibility, remove blockers, protect technical quality, and drive sustainable improvements in team performance and service reliability.

What you'll be doing

• Lead, coordinate and support the daily execution of an squad, ensuring clear ownership, priorities, expected outcomes and follow-up for all assigned work
• Translate product, service and operational priorities into an actionable squad plan, balancing incidents, corrective maintenance, technical debt and evolutionary delivery
• Receive, assess, prioritize and assign incidents and technical tasks according to business impact, urgency, complexity, dependencies, team capacity and agreed service levels
• Facilitate the squad operating cadence, including daily follow-up, backlog refinement, planning, technical reviews, risk reviews and incident or problem-management sessions
• Monitor workload, progress, blockers, dependencies, response times, resolution times, delivery commitments, and service-level compliance
• Coordinate the resolution of high-priority or complex incidents, ensuring timely escalation, effective cross-team collaboration, clear workarounds and appropriate stakeholder communication
• Provide technical direction, challenge proposed solutions and ensure architectural consistency, maintainability, security, testability and operational readiness
• Review or coordinate code reviews, technical designs, test evidence and deployment readiness for changes delivered by the squad
• Act as the primary liaison between the squad and Product, Support, Architecture, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Quality Assurance, and other delivery teams
• Communicate status, risks, decisions, capacity constraints, expected completion dates and service impacts in a clear and timely manner
• Coach and mentor engineers, reinforce engineering standards, support knowledge sharing and identify capability or capacity gaps that require action
• Ensure root-cause analyses are completed for critical or recurring incidents and that preventive measures are incorporated into the backlog and followed through to closure
• Promote accurate documentation of incidents, known errors, technical decisions, operational procedures, dependencies and reusable knowledge
• Use delivery and service indicators to identify trends, improve predictability, reduce recurring issues and strengthen squad effectiveness

What you'll bring along

• Strong understanding of technical team leadership, software delivery, application maintenance, incident management, production support, and service-oriented ways of working
• Solid engineering background in modern web applications, preferably including Node.js, Angular, REST APIs, integrations, databases and cloud-native deployment environments
• Experience coordinating a multidisciplinary technical squad and managing work across multiple stakeholders, teams and dependencies
• Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions, challenge designs constructively and balance immediate operational needs with long-term maintainability
• Experience with agile delivery practices, backlog management, estimation, planning, risk management and continuous improvement
• Experience with ticketing, project-management, source-control, CI/CD, monitoring and incident-management tools
• Ability to interpret operational and delivery data, identify trends and define focused improvement actions
• Strong prioritization, planning, delegation, facilitation, conflict-resolution and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong ownership, accountability, customer orientation and ability to remain effective under pressure
• Professional working proficiency in English to lead meetings, document decisions and communicate with international stakeholders
• Proven experience as a senior engineer, technical lead, team lead, or equivalent role in a software delivery or application-support environment
• Demonstrated ability to organize and follow up the operational work of a squad while maintaining technical credibility and hands-on understanding
• Experience coordinating critical incidents, escalations, technical dependencies, release activities, and service-impacting issues
• Experience working closely with Product, Support, Development, Architecture, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Quality Assurance teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, provide transparent reporting, and maintain a structured and service-oriented approach
• Proactive, analytical, collaborative, and results-driven mindset, with a strong commitment to engineering quality and team development
