You will be part of the Solution & Design community within the NTT DATA Salesforce Practice across UK & Ireland, working alongside Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, and Delivery teams.\nAs a Field Service Architect, you will play a pivotal role across the full lifecycle - from presales and solution shaping through to delivery oversight and client engagement - designing solutions that transform how our clients plan, schedule and deliver work in the field, aligned to both industry-specific needs and Salesforce platform best practices.\nNote you must be a UK permanent resident to be eligible for this role.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nLead the design of end-to-end Salesforce Field Service solutions across Service Cloud, Field Service, the Field Service Mobile App and Experience Cloud, covering the full service lifecycle from case management through to scheduling, dispatch, field execution and billing.\nTranslate business requirements into scalable, secure and high-performing solution architectures aligned to enterprise standards and industry best practice.\nDefine and optimise Field Service operating models, including work orders, service appointments, territories, resources, skills, crews and operating hours.\nArchitect scheduling and optimisation capabilities, including scheduling policies, work rules, service objectives, capacity planning and SLA-driven workforce management.\nDesign intuitive experiences for dispatchers, field engineers and customers, including mobile solutions, offline capabilities, service reporting and digital signatures.\nShape asset and service management capabilities, including maintenance plans, warranties, service contracts, entitlements, inventory and parts management.\nSupport presales activities through discovery workshops, solution shaping, estimates, licensing recommendations, commercial input and client presentations.\nProvide architectural leadership and governance throughout delivery, ensuring solutions are implemented as designed and meet quality, performance and scalability requirements.\nDefine integration and data strategies across Salesforce and enterprise platforms, including ERP, asset management, HR, GIS and IoT solutions, while supporting data migration and governance activities.\nCollaborate closely with delivery, technology, industry and client teams to ensure alignment between business requirements, architecture and successful delivery outcomes.\nBuild trusted client relationships, facilitate workshops and design sessions, and provide strategic guidance on Field Service transformation, adoption and roadmap planning.\nContribute to the development of reusable assets, accelerators and best practices, while mentoring colleagues and staying current with Salesforce Field Service innovations and industry trends.\nWhat experience you'll bring:\n· Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect or Field Service Architect within a consulting or enterprise environment, including at least two end-to-end Salesforce Field Service implementations (must have)\nDeep expertise in Salesforce Field Service (formerly Field Service Lightning): data model, scheduling and optimisation, Dispatcher Console, mobile app and offline, alongside strong Service Cloud knowledge\nExperience designing for complex scheduling scenarios such as multi-day work, crews, skills and certification matching, emergency or break-in work, and contractor or third-party workforces\nKnowledge of asset service management (maintenance plans, warranties, service contracts, entitlements) and inventory or parts management\nFamiliarity with Experience Cloud, Agentforce, Data Cloud and IoT-driven service is advantageous\nExperience delivering end-to-end solutions across complex transformation programmes in field-based or asset-intensive sectors (e.g. utilities, telecoms, public sector, housing, manufacturing, facilities management)\nSolid understanding of integration patterns, data architecture and enterprise systems, particularly ERP, asset management and GIS platforms\nExperience supporting presales, solution shaping, and client presentations\nAbility to balance business requirements with technical constraints and platform capabilities\nStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business and technical audiences\nSalesforce certifications highly desirable: Field Service Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, and Application Architect / System Architect\nExcellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills\nWho we are:\nAt NTT DATA, you have endless opportunities to think big, act bold and take ownership.
