The candidate should have strong SAP technical knowledge combined with automation, scripting, API, and RPA capabilities.\nThe role will focus on identifying repetitive SAP operational activities and implementing reliable automation solutions to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance service quality.\nKey Responsibilities\nIdentify and assess SAP processes suitable for automation and process optimization.\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and support end-to-end SAP automation solutions.\nAutomate repetitive SAP operational and monitoring activities such as:\nSystem and application monitoring\nBackground job monitoring\nIDoc/interface monitoring\nTablespace monitoring\nEmail/interface delivery monitoring\nSAP user and license-management activities\nReport generation and distribution\nData extraction and reconciliation\nDevelop automation using SAP Build Process Automation / SAP Intelligent RPA, where applicable.\nDevelop scripts using Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or other relevant scripting technologies.\nAutomate SAP GUI activities using appropriate SAP automation technologies.\nIntegrate automation solutions with SAP using RFC/BAPI, OData, REST/SOAP APIs, IDocs, and other interfaces.\nDevelop automated alerts, notifications, exception handling, and escalation mechanisms.\nImplement logging, audit trails, error handling, and recovery mechanisms for production automations.\nTroubleshoot failed automation jobs and perform root-cause analysis.\nMonitor automation performance and identify opportunities for further optimization.\nWork closely with SAP Basis, ABAP, functional, security, BTP, and infrastructure teams.\nPrepare technical designs, SOPs, runbooks, test cases, and automation documentation.\nSupport production deployments and post-production stabilization.\nMandatory Skills\nStrong understanding of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.\nHands-on experience in SAP process automation.\nExperience with SAP Build Process Automation / SAP Intelligent RPA or equivalent enterprise automation tools.\nStrong scripting skills in at least one of:\nPython\nPowerShell\nJavaScript\nKnowledge of SAP GUI automation/scripting.\nExperience with SAP integration technologies such as RFC/BAPI, OData, REST APIs, SOAP, and IDocs.\nGood understanding of SAP background jobs, interfaces, monitoring, and operational support processes.\nExperience with scheduling, logging, exception handling, alerts, and automated notifications.\nStrong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills.\nExperience working in SAP AMS/support and/or automation projects.\"\nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
