The role involves overseeing end-to-end SAP implementations, S/4HANA programs, technical upgrades, and related non-SAP initiatives while ensuring successful project execution, stakeholder alignment, and achievement of business objectives. The candidate will provide strategic project leadership, manage project financials, risks, schedules, and resources, and drive delivery excellence in alignment with client expectations and organizational goals.\nDay-to-Day Job Duties\nDevelop project plans and schedules, manage timely execution of project activities, and oversee team availability, resource planning, and vacation schedules.\n\nDevelop project charters, manage project scope, and initiate necessary change requests while ensuring alignment with corporate margin and revenue targets.\n\nManage project risks, issues, and key decision-making processes, ensuring all critical decisions are captured and documented throughout project execution.\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for project-related escalations and coordinate their resolution in accordance with established project governance structures.\n\nProvide accurate project status reporting in line with governance requirements, including internal and customer-facing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and Stage Gate reporting.\n\nApply effective project management practices aligned with client culture while ensuring project objectives and expected business outcomes are achieved.\n\nConcurrently manage multiple customer projects, providing day-to-day leadership to analyze requirements, develop designs, and implement SAP and related solutions.\n\nManage SAP greenfield implementations, brownfield technical upgrade projects, and smaller SAP initiatives, including related projects in non-SAP areas.\n\nWork closely with SAP Program Managers, architects, technical teams, and functional analysts to ensure successful project delivery.\n\nCommunicate effectively with clients regarding SAP projects, project methodology, technology, and functionality.\n\nCollaborate with client project leadership and participating vendors to define, architect, drive, and deliver cohesive project solutions.\n\nLead delivery teams, drive desired professional behaviors, motivate team members, and create an environment that enables successful project performance.\n\nManage project financials, ensuring revenue and margin targets are achieved in line with expectations.\n\nEngage with customer leadership and project stakeholders to demonstrate proposed approaches and solutions and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nMinimum 15+ years of SAP experience.\n\nMinimum 10+ years of experience in Program / Project Management.\n\nMinimum 5+ years of experience managing SAP S/4HANA projects as a Project Manager.\n\nMinimum 6+ years of successful experience managing large-scale projects involving SAP as a key component for large enterprise clients.\n\nMinimum 5+ years of SAP Project Management experience.\n\nExperience managing at least 4 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects.\n\nProven experience managing organizational and business process transformations and large-scale initiatives.\n\nStrong experience in SAP Activate Methodology.\n\nExperience managing project stakeholders and engaging with customer leadership.\n\nExperience managing project plans, schedules, scope, risks, issues, financials, and governance requirements.\n\nExcellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with team members at all organizational levels, from employees to executives.\n\nStrong focus on results, ensuring project objectives are achieved in terms of business value and financial performance.\n\nAbility to demonstrate and communicate the advantages of proposed approaches and solutions.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience managing SAP greenfield implementations and brownfield technical upgrade projects.\n\nExperience managing multiple concurrent SAP and non-SAP projects for enterprise customers.\n\nExperience collaborating with client leadership, third-party vendors, SAP architects, and cross-functional delivery teams.\n\nMin/Required Qualifications\nMinimum 15+ years of SAP experience.\n\nMinimum 10+ years of experience in Program / Project Management.\n\nMinimum 5+ years of experience managing SAP S/4HANA projects as a Project Manager.\n\nMinimum 5+ years of successful experience managing large-scale projects involving SAP as a key component for large enterprise clients.\n#LI-NorthAmerica\n\nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
