This role ensures the protection of corporate email systems against phishing, malware, spam, business email compromise (BEC), spoofing, and other email-based threats while maintaining platform stability and service availability.\nThe engineer will work closely with Account Security Team, NTT Operations Teams, OEM vendors, and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues, implement security controls, enforce security policies, and provide operational and security reporting. The role also supports continuous improvement of email security capabilities, threat protection, and service reliability.\nKey Responsibilities\nEmail Security Platform Management\nAdminister and maintain enterprise email security platforms and services.\nEnsure high availability, performance, and operational health of email security infrastructure.\nMonitor email security gateways, cloud email security solutions, and supporting systems.\nManage platform configurations, upgrades, patches, and lifecycle activities.\nSupport capacity planning, performance tuning, and operational optimization.\nPlatform Availability & Operational Management\nMonitor platform availability and service health to ensure compliance with agreed SLAs.\nInvestigate service outages, mail flow issues, delivery delays, and system performance concerns.\nCoordinate incident resolution activities across multiple operational teams.\nSupport disaster recovery and business continuity processes related to email security platforms.\nMaintain operational runbooks and standard operating procedures.\nEmail Threat Protection & Security Operations\nMonitor and respond to:\nPhishing attacks\nBusiness Email Compromise (BEC)\nMalware campaigns\nSpoofing attempts\nEmail-borne threats\nInvestigate email security incidents and coordinate remediation activities.\nSupport implementation of:\nSPF\nDKIM\nDMARC\nAnti-phishing controls\nEmail encryption controls\nAnalyze email security trends and recommend improvements.\nOEM Vendor Coordination\nCoordinate with OEM vendors to resolve product defects, technical issues, software bugs, and platform-related security concerns.\nManage vendor escalations for critical incidents and service disruptions.\nReview vendor advisories, product updates, and security bulletins.\nParticipate in vendor troubleshooting sessions and technical reviews.\nTrack vendor action plans and remediation timelines.\nSecurity Policy Enforcement\nEnforce security policies, standards, and controls as requested by the Account Security Team.\nImplement email security controls in alignment with organizational security requirements.\nEnsure compliance with approved security baselines and governance requirements.\nSupport security exception reviews and risk mitigation activities.\nValidate policy compliance across email security environments.\nReporting & Metrics\nGenerate security and operational reports mutually agreed with the Account Team.\nDevelop dashboards and metrics related to:\nEmail threat activity\nPhishing detection rates\nMalware Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.\nEquivalent professional experience may be considered.\nExperience\nMid-Level Engineer\n3-5 years of experience supporting enterprise email security platforms.\nSenior Engineer\n5-8 years of experience in Email Security Engineering, Messaging
