You will collaborate closely with technical teams to integrate security into DevOps processes, drive vulnerability testing, and ensure customer environments meet defined security standards. The role ensures the effectiveness of security practices in software development, manages security testing, drives operational maturity improvements, and oversees secure coding practices. Reporting to the Director of Security Development and Testing, you will be a key contributor in enabling secure software delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nService Delivery Support\nOversee performance and quality of services delivered, ensuring SLA and KPI compliance. \nConduct regular client reviews to identify enhancement opportunities. \nManage the execution of secure development and testing services across projects.\nServe as a point of contact for technical escalations and coordinate with senior stakeholders to resolve issues.\nSupport client engagements with documentation, test results, and assessment reports.\nDevSecOps Implementation\nWork with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA) into CI/CD pipelines.\nHelp maintain and improve automated security testing workflows.\nSupport threat modelling and secure design practices at the project level.\nParticipate in security reviews of new features and applications.\nSecurity Testing and Tooling\nOversee the planning and execution of security tests, including static and dynamic analysis.\nEnsure appropriate tooling is used and maintained, and testing results are actioned.\nTrack vulnerability remediation efforts and support developers with secure coding guidance.\nMonitor and report on testing coverage and issue resolution trends.\nProcess Improvement\nContribute to the enhancement of development and testing standards.\nIdentify opportunities for automation and improved testing efficiency.\nTrack and report on relevant metrics to support continuous improvement.\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nSecurity Testing Coverage: Percentage of applications tested using SAST/DAST/SCA tools.\nVulnerability Remediation Time: Time to resolve high/critical vulnerabilities.\nDevSecOps Tool Adoption: Use of automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.\nSecure Code Training Completion: Percentage of development team trained.\nInternal Audit Readiness: Compliance with secure development processes.\nEscalation Resolution Time: Time to address technical or process escalations.\nWhat experience you'll bring:\n5+ years in leading secure software development, testing, or DevSecOps environments.\nHands-on experience with security testing tools (e.g., Veracode, SonarQube, Burp Suite, etc.).\nFamiliarity with secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, and threat modelling.\nExperience working in Agile or DevOps-driven environments.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nRelevant security or DevSecOps certifications (e.g., CSSLP, CEH, GWEB) preferred.\nEligible for SC clearance in the UK.\nWho we are:\nAt NTT DATA, you have endless opportunities to think big, act bold and take ownership.
