Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Senior Associate Data Centre Operations Analyst is a developing subject matter expert typically responsible for providing designs, plans, installs, and maintains mechanical, electrical, plumbing.\nThe Senior Associate Data Centre Operations Analyst possesses a proficient understanding of sensitive facility components that may be impacted by failures or malfunctions of infrastructure systems.\nThis role proactively analyzes current operating conditions and recommends new preventative and proactive methods for maintaining and monitoring facilities systems.\nThis role also supports broader initiatives aimed at optimizing Data Center operations and ensuring seamless functionality across all facility systems.\nKey responsibilities:\nDesigns, plans, installs, and maintains mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other infrastructure systems in mission-critical, high-risk and high-reliability data center environments.\n\nHas proficient understanding of sensitive facility components that may be impacted by failures or malfunctions of infrastructure systems.\n\nUnderstand potential equipment failures and provide full technical support to Facility Operations teams in the event of a critical system failure.\n\nAnalyzes current operating conditions and recommends new preventative and proactive methods for maintaining and monitoring facilities systems.\n\nEvaluates facility standards and practices to improve maintenance procedures and ensure optimal operational efficiency.\n\nComplies with organizational and governmental safety standards.\n\nCoordinates response to emergency situations and ensures that corrective measures are rapid and thorough.\n\nFollows operational processes and ensures services and infrastructure meets operational service level agreements (SLAs).\n\nPerform facility system component upgrades as required to ensure reliability and combat obsolescence\n\nDesign maintenance programs for Electrical and Mechanical systems to minimize maintenance complexity and reduce maintenance down time.\n\nValidate maintenance performance by analysing trends, operational history, maintenance data and Utilisation metrics\n\nProvides non-routine technical support for data center operations, including troubleshooting software and hardware failures.\n\nParticipates in the development of datacentre infrastructure projects.\n\nPerforms any other duties as required by the Facility Operations management team.\n\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nMaintain a strong technical knowledge of the critical infrastructure design intent, sequence of operations, fault conditions and associated corrective action\n\nAbility to collect and analyse system performance data to identify issues and improve facility systems.\n\nAbility to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical people.\n\nGood communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and devise efficient solutions.\n\nDeveloping project management skills.\n\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college or equivalent field experience to successfully perform essential job functions\n\nRelevant vendor certifications such as.\n\nAdditional beneficial certifications such as AOS,ATD,CDFOM, CDCDP etc.\n\nRequired experience:\n5 years of experience in Critical Facility/Data Centre technical operations and maintenance/or engineering design of critical systemsSeasoned knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and life safety monitoring and control systems typically used in critical environments\n\nSeasoned knowledge of critical facilities/datacentre operations and maintenance\n\nSeasoned proficiency of sensitive facility components that may be impacted by failures or malfunctions of infrastructure systems\n\nDemonstrates good analytical skills, having an ability to analyse, refine, summarize, and clearly present data and information.\n\nWorkplace type:\nOn-site WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
