Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Senior Associate Financial Accountant is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for preparing more routine financial reports, processing of journal entries and accounting month end.\nThis role also assists with preparing balance sheet reconciliations and reporting on costs, productivity, margins, and expenditures and offer financial recommendations.\nThis role may also assist with management and preparation of budgets and takes guidance from a more senior member of the team.\nKey responsibilities:\nUnder supervision, assists with implementing, controlling, and monitoring of periodic compliance testing.\nActively supports the management of overall financial forecasting processes as well as reviewing financial records to ensure they comply with company policies and accounting principles.\nUndertakes a regular review of the accuracy of regulatory calculations and submissions.\nAssists with reconciling accounts, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating across various finance and non-finance functions.\nSupports with analyzing journals, producing data analysis and reports and analyzing past performance of financial data and preparing budgets and forecasts for business unit management.\nHelps with implementing effective financial controls, including systems reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of reported figures.\nProactively supports the activities of the accounts receivable function within the assigned business unit and processes month-end activities which include the preparation and processing of month-end journal entries, processing loan and bank account entries and reconciling these accounts and executing a variety of actions in the accounting system.\nMay assist with reviewing the credit vetting process by ensuring that new accounts are opened in line with financial procedures.\nPerforms any other relevant task as requested by management.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nGood communication skills (verbal and written).\nGood interpersonal skills and ability to self-manage.\nDisplay good planning and organizing abilities.\nDemonstrate good attention to detail and deadline driven.\nAble to cope with stressful situations.\nAble to deal with different individuals at various levels in the organization.\nTakes own initiative and has a solutions-orientated approach.\nMaintains a high standard of accuracy and quality.\nAbility to work independently and be a knowledge expert\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance or related field.\nRequired experience:\nModerate level of experience gained in similar role preferably within a similar global organization.\nModerate level of financial accounting experience.\nModerate level of experience working on financial systems / software.\nWorkplace type:\nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
