Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Taxation Accountant is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for preparing and submitting tax statements and returns for the company.\nThis role provides advice on financial and tax matters and provides support to ensure tax legislation and planning compliance.\nThis role takes responsibility for all related documentation, support and research any relevant issues, responding to tax correspondence and assisting with the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision and related tax accounting.\nKey responsibilities:\nUses tax form instructions and tax tables to make proper entries on tax submission forms.\nAssists with the development of corporate tax plan that ensure proper reporting of tax planning initiatives.\nEnsures timely and accurate filing of all relevant direct and indirect tax returns.\nAssists with finding tax solution to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings.\nAssists with the management of tax software and implement new features and updates as and when required.\nCoordinates specific processes to support the implementation and execution of the taxation cycle in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.\nPrepares tax returns to ensure their alignment to federal and state income taxes for company at a local level for quarterly and annual federal and related tax compliance.\nAssists with the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision and related tax accounting such as the reconciliation of tax data on financial statements.\nPrepares a large number of documents on behalf of the company including written correspondence and documents to be submitted to the relevant taxation bodies.\nPrepares responses related to all types of tax and collates the information required for tax audits and queries raised by taxation regulators in the region.\nObtains any supporting documents and compiles tax schedules for annual income tax returns.\nAssists with the coordination and reviews of the payment of taxes and remains abreast of developments and trends in their area of focus.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nAbility to establish and maintain solid working relationships with stakeholders.\nExcellent planning and organizing skills.\nGood knowledge of accounting processes and procedures.\nProblem analysis and solving skills.\nAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.\nAbility to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to multitask and work independently.\nDemonstrates mathematical skills.\nExhibits deductive reasoning skills.\nAbility to produce a high quality of work.\nDemonstrate high ethics and adherence to company values.\nPrecise and meticulous when preparing tax returns and other related documentation.\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance / accounting or related field preferred.\nRegistered with a professional body as Tax Practitioner\nRequired experience:\nSeasoned demonstrated work experience in similar role.\nSeasoned demonstrated work experience in a related environment.\nSeasoned demonstrated experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders.\nWorkplace type:\nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
