Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Senior Manager, Learning and Development is a senior management role, responsible for leading the design, execution, and enhancement of learning programs to foster professional growth and skill development within the organization.\nWith a focus on aligning learning initiatives with business objectives, this role involves managing a team of learning professionals, collaborating with business leaders to identify training needs, and crafting engaging and effective training materials.\nThis senior management role is responsible for implementing cutting-edge learning methodologies, measuring program outcomes, and continuously improving training effectiveness while contributing to the fostering of a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence.\nKey responsibilities:\nProvides guidance to senior leadership/management to develop a comprehensive learning and development plans that supports organizational objectives.\nManages the planning, design, and delivery of training programs across various formats, such as in-person, virtual, and e-learning.\nLeads the creation of training curricula, materials, and resources that address employee development needs.\nConducts thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the organization.\nManages a team of trainers, instructional designers, coordinators, or learning specialists, providing guidance and mentorship.\nDevelops metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and uses data to make informed decisions.\nImplements learning technologies, such as learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms, to enhance training delivery and accessibility.\nManages the learning and development budget, allocating resources efficiently and ensuring optimal ROI.\nPartners with external training providers and vendors to enhance the organization's training offerings.\nRegularly reviews training content and methodologies to incorporate feedback and industry best practices.\nAssesses current, and relevant learning and development needs of employees and company programs, in consultation with program leaders, including utilizing assessment methods and measurement systems for future success.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nExtended knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design, and training methodologies.\nExtended knowledge of how to identify skill gaps and training needs within an organization.\nAbility to design comprehensive training curricula, materials, and assessments.\nExtended knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), e-learning tools, and other training technologies.\nExtended knowledge of project management principles to plan, execute, and evaluate training initiatives.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with various departments and levels of management.\nExtended skills in analyzing training data and generating reports to inform decisions and improvements.\nAbility to address challenges during training and adapt strategies based on feedback.\nExtended leadership skills to guide, mentor, and develop a team of trainers and coordinators.\nOpenness to adopting new technologies, methodologies, and best practices in learning and development.\nA focus on achieving measurable outcomes in terms of employee skill development and organizational impact.\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources / Learning and Development or a related field.\nRequired experience:\nExtended demonstrated experience in designing and implementing strategic learning and development plans that align with business goals.\nExtended demonstrated success in managing and leading large teams or departments in a similar role.\nExtended demonstrated experience in designing and delivering various types of training programs, including leadership development, technical skills, soft skills, and more.\nExtended demonstrated experience of modern instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and effective training delivery methods.\nExtended understanding of managing and leading organizational change related to learning initiatives, including transitions to new learning technologies or methodologies.\nExtended experience in using data and analytics to measure training effectiveness, identify trends, and make informed decisions about learning strategies.\nExtended demonstrated experience managing learning and development initiatives across diverse geographic locations, considering cultural nuances and global requirements.\nExtended demonstrated experience in managing budgets and allocating resources.\nWorkplace type:\nHybrid WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
