This is a hands-on architecture role for someone who can translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions while providing direction to development teams and business stakeholders.\nYou will also help establish and evolve OutSystems Center of Excellence (CoE) practices and identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI and Agentic AI to improve enterprise workflows and automation.\nWhat You'll Do\nSolution Architecture\nDesign scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications using OutSystems O11 and ODC.\nDefine application architecture, integration patterns, security models, reusable components, and deployment strategies.\nTranslate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions.\nLead architecture and design reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise standards.\nEstablish reusable application components, templates, workflow patterns, and architecture frameworks.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to OutSystems developers and technical leads.\nOutSystems CoE & Governance\nEstablish and mature OutSystems Center of Excellence practices.\nDefine standards for architecture, development, security, documentation, testing, deployment, and release management.\nEstablish governance for project intake, architecture reviews, reusable assets, application templates, and production releases.\nDevelop and maintain development and DevOps best practices and playbooks.\nPromote consistency, quality, scalability, and maintainability across the OutSystems application portfolio.\nEnterprise Integration\nDesign and oversee integrations between OutSystems applications and enterprise platforms using:\nREST and SOAP APIs\nSalesforce\nSAP and other ERP and document-intensive business processes.\nDesign solutions capable of supporting high-volume enterprise transactions.\nEnsure workflow applications provide appropriate auditability and traceability.\nDevOps & CI/CD\nEstablish and improve CI/CD practices for OutSystems applications.\nIntegrate OutSystems deployment processes with enterprise DevOps tools such as Jenkins.\nManage application promotion across development, test, UAT, and production environments.\nSupport release management, deployment governance, production releases, and post-production support.\nAI & Intelligent Automation\nIdentify opportunities to incorporate Generative AI and Agentic AI into enterprise applications and workflows.\nDesign intelligent automation capabilities such as:\nAutomated reminders and follow-ups\nAction-item generation\nIntelligent workflow assistance\nException management\nAI-assisted business-process automation\nEvaluate emerging AI capabilities and determine where they can deliver measurable business value.\nTechnical Leadership\nProvide technical leadership across multiple concurrent OutSystems initiatives.\nLead requirements and architecture workshops with business and technical stakeholders.\nGuide technical estimation, backlog planning, and delivery strategy.\nPartner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, developers, QA, infrastructure teams, and business leaders.\nSupport Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical delivery planning.\nOversee development, testing, UAT, deployment, and production stabilization.\nConduct technical demonstrations and architecture presentations.\nMentor development teams and promote engineering best practices.\nRequired Qualifications\n12+ years of overall IT experience.\n7+ years of hands-on OutSystems experience.\nStrong experience with OutSystems O11 and enterprise application architecture.\nExperience with OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) or comparable modern OutSystems environments.\nProven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale OutSystems applications.\nStrong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integration patterns.\nExperience with enterprise authentication and identity technologies such as SSO, OIDC, and IdP.\nExperience architecting workflow, approval, and business-process automation solutions.\nExperience with CI/CD, deployment, and release management.\nStrong SQL and enterprise data-integration experience.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\nExcellent technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nOutSystems Architect or Tech Lead certification.\nOutSystems ODC certification.\nOutSystems Agentic AI certification or hands-on AI automation
