Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Senior Service/Product Design Architect is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for executing the relevant business unit strategy through the development of sustainable, scalable, best practice service offers.\nThis role works with Digital Transformation, Product lines and Operations Management to define and scope new services and service capabilities and interacts with key stakeholders including Enterprise and Solution Architecture, Delivery, Platform and our internal clients, to ensure that the design of services will meet the real needs of internal clients across a global corporate digital landscape.\nKey responsibilities:\nDesigns and develops paper prototypes for review with internal clients and stakeholders to ensure scope and definition is feasible and viable.\nDocuments Internal Service Definitions for new service offers and service capabilities.\nFacilitates ideation and design workshops to validate needs, and identify solution designs at a process, platform an organization level.\nCoordinates with other architects, designers and subject matter experts responsible for detailed solution designs.\nEnsures that designs meet the common and specific design principles to be applied to a service.\nLeverages best practices in design thinking, scaled agile, ITIL, security - to design best-of-breed service solutions.\nConceptualizes designs by conducting detailed analysis of service design and architecture frameworks, to ensure the design is fit for purpose and meets client requirements.\nAnalyzes architectural concepts and influence design decisions to ensure that they are operable, maintainable, scalable, and robust through an end-to-end lifecycle.\nPlans design activities in detail, making sure that all relevant aspects and internal client requirements are considered during service design, specifies any technical infrastructure to be created, as well as required organizational changes.\nResponsible for producing and maintaining all design documentation including RACIs and produce a service design model which is delivered to the transition phase and contains all the necessary details for all phases of the life cycle.\nAssesses architecture components and validates and verifies technical models to ensure risks are minimized and technical service designs are rolled out within the agreed service levels (SLA’s) and operating levels (OLA’s) and are fit for purpose.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nAdvanced knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs.\nAdvanced relationship management and demonstrated collaborative skills in working with internal and external business leaders and stakeholders.\nAdvanced communication skills (verbal and written) coupled with good questioning skills.\nAdvanced knowledge of systems and design thinking.\nAdvanced knowledge and understanding of the full software development lifecycle.\nAdvanced documentation skills, in particular business requirements.\nAdvanced analytical, problem solving, and research skills.\nAssertive in approach coupled with confidence in area of expertise and the ability to facilitate business conversations.\nAbility to persuade, negotiate and influence key stakeholders.\nAbility to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business.\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science or Business or related field.\nRelevant certifications such as Design Thinking and ITIL are beneficial.\nAn understanding of ITSM with platform experience on ServiceNow\nRequired experience:\n10 years advanced experience working in an Information Technology environment, particularly within IT Operations and Service Architecture.\nAdvanced relevant experience in similar role within a related environment.\nAdvanced experience in Operations Architecture, Service Design and Development, Business Analysis or Pre-sales Consulting role related to outsourced services.\nWorkplace type:\nHybrid WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
