Across the industries we support - from Automotive and Industrial Automation to Smart Devices and IoT - we transform reliable embedded technology into a foundation for innovative, dependable products.\nWe are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer with a strong background in Automotive Cybersecurity to support the development of Instrument Cluster and Head-Up Display (HUD) products. The ideal candidate combines strong Embedded C/C++ development skills with hands-on experience implementing security mechanisms in automotive ECUs, preferably within Instrument Cluster, Digital Cockpit, HUD, Infotainment, or similar embedded products.\nPlease note that this opportunity is available exclusively on a freelance/contractor basis (B2B engagement). We are currently not considering permanent employment applications for this role.\nWhat you'll be doing\nDevelop and integrate security-related software components for Instrument Cluster / HUD ECUs.\nImplement automotive cybersecurity mechanisms, including:Secure Boot / Chain of Trust\nSecure Flashing and Software Update\nCryptographic services and key management\nAuthentication and secure communication\nSecure diagnostics\nSecure storage\n\nDevelop and integrate security functionality within AUTOSAR Classic environments.\nWork with AUTOSAR security-related modules such as Crypto Stack, CSM, Crypto Interface, SecOC and Key Management.\nIntegrate and configure HSM / hardware-based security functionality.\nDevelop embedded software in C/C++ and perform low-level debugging and troubleshooting.\nSupport security implementation across vehicle communication interfaces such as CAN/CAN-FD and Automotive Ethernet.\nAnalyze cybersecurity requirements and translate them into software requirements and implementations.\nSupport integration, testing, debugging, code reviews, and root-cause analysis.\nCollaborate closely with Software Architects, Cybersecurity Engineers, BSW Developers, System Engineers and Integration/Test teams.\nEnsure implementation follows ASPICE, ISO/SAE 21434, and relevant OEM cybersecurity requirements.\nWhat you'll bring along\n5+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development.\nStrong programming skills in Embedded C/C++.\nHands-on experience implementing automotive cybersecurity functionality.\nGood knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic a\nExperience with automotive security concepts such as Secure Boot, Secure Flashing, HSM, cryptography, authentication and key management.\nKnowledge of AUTOSAR Crypto Stack / CSM / SecOC or equivalent security frameworks.\nGood understanding of automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN-FD, UDS, Ethernet, SOME/IP.\nExperience with embedded debugging and development tools such as Lauterbach, CANoe/CANalyzer, debuggers and static analysis tools.\nFamiliarity with Git, CI/CD, Jira/Confluence and requirements management tools.\nUnderstanding of ISO/SAE 21434 and ASPICE development processes.\nPrevious experience with Instrument Cluster, Head-Up Display, Digital Cockpit or Infotainment products\nHands-on experience with HSM integration and configuration\nExperience with SHE/HSM APIs, PKI, certificates, symmetric/asymmetric cryptography and digital signatures.\n\nDocument\n\nWhat’s in it for you\nNew beginnings can be a challenge.
