Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Senior Software Engineer designs, develops, and delivers enterprise-grade AI solutions for leading organizations across banking, healthcare, and other industries.\nYou will work on a diverse range of innovative solutions including conversational AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platforms, AI agents, intelligent document processing, workflow automation, knowledge management systems, and enterprise integrations.\nWorking closely with Solution Architects, Data Scientists, and Technical Leads, you will build scalable, secure, and production-ready applications that solve real business challenges while leveraging modern cloud and AI technologies.\nKey responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and enterprise applications.\nDevelop modern, responsive web applications and user interfaces.\nBuild enterprise AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and workflow automation.\nIntegrate applications with enterprise systems, databases, REST APIs, authentication platforms, and third-party services.\nDesign and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software following engineering best practices.\nParticipate in solution architecture, technical design discussions, and technology evaluations.\nPerform code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.\nTroubleshoot, optimise, and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.\nCollaborate closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Data Scientists, UI/UX Designers, DevOps Engineers, and fellow Software Engineers.\nContinuously explore emerging technologies and contribute to improving engineering processes and product capabilities.\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 4 years of professional software development experience.\nStrong proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.\nExperience developing modern web applications using React, Vue.js, or Angular.\nStrong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean coding principles.\nExperience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.\nHands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).\nExperience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.\nFamiliarity with Docker and containerised application development.\nStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in Agile teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable.\nCloud & Infrastructure\nAzure or AWS cloud platforms\nKubernetes and container orchestration\nCI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices\nApplication monitoring and observability\nAI & Intelligent Applications\nLarge Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications\nRetrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)\nAI agents and agentic workflows\nLLM orchestration frameworks\nPrompt engineering and AI evaluation\nEnterprise AI platforms and model integration\nVector databases and semantic search technologies\nEnterprise Application Development\nEnterprise authentication and identity management (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Microsoft Entra ID, SAML)\nEvent-driven architectures and messaging platforms\nAPI integrations with enterprise applications\nSecure software development practices\nPerformance optimisation and scalable application design\nWorkplace type:\nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
