Dublin (IE-D), Ireland (IE).\nFS Advisory Consultant (Techno-Functional Business Analyst)\nSummary of Role\nIn this role, the individual will:\nBring a strong understanding of Financial Services consulting, business analysis, and technology-enabled transformation, having worked in a similar capacity across advisory and implementation engagements.\nLead advisory engagements involving business operating model design, business process transformation, cost-benefit analysis, and technology enablement.\nEngage business stakeholders to capture, analyze, and document business requirements, process models, and target-state solutions using industry-standard frameworks and tools.\nTranslate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology delivery.\nAct as a liaison between business, product, architecture, data, and technology teams to drive successful solution implementation.\nSupport end-to-end transformation initiatives across Banking and Financial Services domains through a combination of consulting and technology expertise.\nResponsibilities\nBusiness Analysis & Advisory\nEngage with business stakeholders to understand problem statements, define scope, and identify business outcomes.\nFacilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather business, functional, and non-functional requirements.\nDocument current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) business processes and operating models.\nPerform process analysis and identify opportunities for digitization, automation, simplification, and operational efficiency.\nDevelop business cases, impact assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to support transformation initiatives.\nConduct industry benchmarking and research to identify leading practices, operating models, and emerging trends.\nSupport business strategy development, customer experience improvement, and digital transformation initiatives.\nDevelop a deep understanding of the business context, market landscape, and regulatory environment affecting stakeholders.\nTechnology & Delivery\nTranslate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and use cases.\nCollaborate with solution architects, engineering teams, data teams, and testing teams to design and deliver technology solutions.\nDefine data requirements, system integration points, reporting requirements, and business rules.\nSupport solution design workshops and ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in technical designs.\nParticipate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, and release management activities.\nSupport system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployment activities.\nAssist with data analysis, data mapping, migration requirements, and reconciliation activities where required.\nEnsure traceability between business requirements, functional specifications, testing, and implementation outcomes.\nProduct & Change Management\nWork closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to define and prioritize product roadmaps.\nCreate and manage epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria within Agile delivery environments.\nSupport organizational change management, stakeholder communication, and business readiness activities.\nDrive stakeholder alignment and facilitate decision-making across business and technology teams.\nContribute to a metrics-driven culture through KPI definition, tracking, and benefits realization reporting.\nExperience & Skills Required\nStrong background in Financial Services consulting, business analysis, or transformation delivery with preferably 10+ years of experience, including 4+ years within a Big 4 advisory or similar consulting organization.\nProven experience delivering large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives within Banking and Financial Services.\nStrong techno-functional expertise with the ability to bridge business requirements and technology implementation.\nExperience in business process modelling, requirements elicitation, business case development, and operating model design.\nStrong understanding of system implementation lifecycles, solution delivery methodologies, and change management practices.\nExperience working with product owners, solution architects, developers, testers, and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.\nKnowledge of system integration concepts, APIs, data flows, data mapping, reporting, and enterprise applications.\nExperience working in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall delivery environments.\nProficiency with business analysis and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Signavio, Miro, Blueworks, or Azure DevOps.\nStrong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in complex transformation programs.\nSolid understanding of digital transformation, customer experience, process optimization, and technology modernization initiatives.\nIT background with a strong appreciation of enterprise technology architecture and solution delivery.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in core banking, payments, lending, wealth management, capital markets, insurance, or customer servicing transformation programs.\nExposure to cloud-based platforms, data modernization programs, AI-enabled solutions, and digital channels.\nRelevant certifications such as CBAP, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile BA, Scrum, SAFe, or Product Owner certifications.\nBachelor's degree with 2.1 or higher (or equivalent) in a related
