This role is responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and reliable collaboration services across on-premises, hybrid, and Microsoft 365 environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nSharePoint Administration:\nManage and maintain SharePoint farms and site collections\nPerform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management\nDefine and enforce governance policies and best practices\nSupport hybrid integration with Microsoft 365 services\nTroubleshoot issues across SharePoint architecture\nSQL Server Management:\nAdminister SQL Server environments supporting SharePoint and other applications\nMonitor and optimize database performance and resource utilization\nManage backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies\nImplement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions (e.g., Always On, clustering)\nPerform capacity planning and database maintenance\nAutomation & Scripting:\nDevelop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks\nImprove operational efficiency through automation and tooling\nGenerate reports for system health, usage, and compliance\nSecurity & Compliance:\nImplement and enforce least-privilege access models\nEnsure secure configurations aligned with enterprise policies\nSupport audit readiness and compliance requirements\nCollaborate with security teams to mitigate risks\nMonitoring & Reliability:\nImplement proactive monitoring and alerting mechanisms\nPerform root cause analysis and incident resolution\nParticipate in on-call support rotation\nEnsure high availability and system stability\nProactively monitors the work queues.\n\nPerforms operational tasks to resolve all incidents/requests in a timely manner and within the agreed SLA.\n\nIdentifies, investigates, analyses issues and errors prior to or when they occur, and logs all such incidents in a timely manner.\n\nExecutes changes with clear identification of risks and mitigation plans to be captured into the change record.\n\nAbility to work across various other resolver group (internal and external) like Service Provider, TAC, etc.\n\nIdentifies problems and errors before they impact a client’s service\n\nLeads and manages all initial client escalation for operational issues.\n\nMay work on implementing and delivering disaster recovery functions and tests.\n\nAcademic Qualifications and Certifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).\nCertifications relevant to the services provided (certifications carry additional weightage on a candidate’s qualification for the role).\nMicrosoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate\nRequired Experience & Skills:\n3+ years of experience managing enterprise-level SharePoint and SQL Server environments\nStrong hands-on expertise in:\nSharePoint SE and online\nMicrosoft SQL\nExchange Server (SE) and Exchange Online\nMicrosoft Teams\nSkype for Business Server\nExperience with hybrid environments and migration strategies\nProficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills\n\nThis is a 1 year fixed term contract.
