Across the industries we support - from Automotive and Industrial Automation to Smart Devices and IoT - we transform reliable embedded technology into a foundation for innovative, dependable products.\nWe are looking for an experienced Software Architect / GC Responsible Architect to take ownership of the Graphic Controller (GC) software architecture for an automotive Instrument Cluster. The role focuses on VAS architecture, GC task model, INTEGRITY/ACE platform, high-level system mechanisms, and multicore architecture on a Renesas ARM Cortex-A7 based platform.\nWhat you'll be doing\nOwn and maintain the Graphic Controller software architecture.\nDefine and coordinate the architecture of the different VASs and their interaction with the Base System.\nDefine the GC task model, including processes, threads, priorities, scheduling, CPU affinity, and startup dependencies.\nDefine high-level system mechanisms such as IPC/RPC, synchronization, shared memory, resource management, error handling, and system supervision.\nDesign and optimize the software architecture for multicore execution.\nEnsure proper integration between VASs, ACE, INTEGRITY OS, middleware, and application/HMI components.\nAnalyze system-level issues related to CPU load, memory, timing, synchronization, and performance.\nSupport software integration, debugging, system bring-up, and architectural reviews.\nCollaborate with HMI, platform, integration, hardware, and system teams.\nWhat you'll bring along\nStrong experience in embedded software architecture and development.\nStrong knowledge of C/C++.\nExperience with RTOS-based architectures, preferably Green Hills INTEGRITY.\nGood understanding of ACE or comparable automotive middleware/platform architectures.\nStrong knowledge of processes, threads, scheduling, IPC, synchronization, and memory management.\nExperience with multicore embedded systems, CPU affinity, and resource allocation.\nGood understanding of ARM Cortex-A architectures, ideally Cortex-A7.\nExperience with Renesas automotive controllers/SoCs is highly desirable.\nStrong system-level debugging and performance analysis skills.\nExperience with Automotive Instrument Cluster, Digital Cockpit, or Infotainment systems is nice to have.\nGreen Hills MULTI / INTEGRITY development experience is nice to have.\nKnowledge of graphics/HMI architectures is nice to have.\nExperience with MMU, shared memory, cache management, and inter-core communication is nice to have.\nAutomotive SPICE / ISO 26262 knowledge is nice to have.\n\nDocument\n\nWhat’s in it for you\nNew beginnings can be a challenge.
