If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.\nWe are currently seeking a Software Development Advisor to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).\nResponsibilities:\nMust possess hands-on experience working in an applications production support/application development environment.\nThey must also possess detailed knowledge of multiple systems, as well as an in-depth understanding of the functionality for these systems to troubleshoot and resolve applications tickets.\nProvide 2nd and 3rd level support for critical and non-critical automotive production application support for a large automotive company.\nThe role is to maintain, control and support the applications on the production lines.\nTechnical support and maintenance activities for the applications.\nDaily tasks to be performed:\nWorking with the client's processes (incident, Request, problem, change management).\nCommunicating and working closely with the users and the client.\nDaily meetings with the team, occasional meetings with the client.\nProblem analysis and documentation.\nPerforming root cause analysis.\nSource code analysis.\nCreating bug fix, releases and upgrades for the applications.\nOccasionally configuring and optimizing the application and infrastructure.\nResponsible for monitoring and responding to open tickets submitted through an incident management system.\nTroubleshoot and escalate alerts that cannot be resolved to appropriate section.\nPrioritize and handle service requests and incidents.\nProgress issues and provide relevant information for troubleshooting or for clarification.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to departmental initiatives.\nResponsible for improving and documenting the technical processes around application support (using Confluence).\nWork collaboratively with Account Managers on change requests, managing issues and establishing priorities.\nHandle late night and weekend emergency support on as required.\nResolve system problems during non-business hours or backlogs by providing off-hours support as needed.\nEnsure the performance of daily health checks of the applications, scripts, and infrastructure by support team.\nDevelop scripts works with team to automate repeatable manual tasks.\nResponsible for troubleshooting and resolving application.\nRotational Shift/ On call requirement is required in future.\nLead the team and clarify their technical queries on Mainframe technologies.\nPrimary Skills: COBOL/JCL,DB2, SQL IBM WebSphere MQ\nSecondary Skills: IMS DB\nReporting and presenting to client.\nSingle Point of Contact for the team.\nGood Communication.\nLanguage :- German (Optional).
