Spring Migration Engineer Day to Day job Duties Lead the end-to-end migration of legacy Java applications to Spring and Spring Boot with minimal disruption to business operations. Analyze complex Java and Tomcat codebases and refactor them to modern Spring architecture patterns. Design and execute phased migration strategies, including dependency, configuration, testing, deployment, and rollback plans. Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams to deliver smooth deployments and zero-downtime transitions. Establish best practices for Spring development, configuration management, security, observability, and performance tuning. Mentor engineers as they adopt Spring frameworks, migration patterns, and supporting tools.
