This role is not about introducing cloud from scratch or selecting a hyperscaler. It is about helping the client evolve, standardise and operate its Public Cloud platforms within a complex enterprise and Hybrid Multi-Cloud environment.\nYou will work closely with the client’s Cloud Center of Excellence, Cloud Architects and Enterprise Architects, alongside NTT DATA engineering, security, networking, transformation and service-delivery teams.\nThe client retains authority over enterprise architecture, cloud governance, workload placement, security policy, IAM approval and key technology decisions. Your role is to bring deep Public Cloud expertise, develop recommendations and design patterns, challenge solutions constructively, and translate client-approved architectural direction into implementable designs and operational capabilities.\nYou will be an active member of the delivery organisation, supporting both transformation and the ongoing evolution of Public Cloud services.\nThis is a highly client-facing role. You will work directly with client stakeholders in day-to-day architecture and delivery discussions and represent NTT DATA at senior technical level.\nThis role requires availability to work on-site in Eindhoven three days per week.\nWhat you will do\nAct as NTT DATA’s senior strategic and technical advisor for Public Cloud.\nBuild trusted relationships with the client’s Cloud Center of Excellence, Cloud Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Security and engineering teams.\nTranslate client architecture principles and standards into practical Public Cloud platform and solution designs.\nProvide architectural leadership across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.\nReview, challenge and improve Public Cloud solution designs, landing-zone patterns and platform services.\nSupport enterprise-scale landing-zone architecture, lifecycle management and continuous improvement.\nGuide cloud networking and connectivity patterns, including Azure ExpressRoute, Google Cloud Interconnect and integration with the wider Hybrid Multi-Cloud environment.\nGuide integration with client IAM, PAM/PIM, security, logging, monitoring and compliance controls.\nSupport secure, scalable and repeatable Infrastructure-as-Code and automation patterns using Terraform and related tooling.\nSupport the evolution of reusable cloud-service patterns, APIs and self-service capabilities through the Hybrid Multi-Cloud Internal Developer Portal.\nWork with client and NTT DATA teams on production-readiness reviews, workload onboarding, health checks and architecture assurance.\nProvide architectural input into resilience, backup, recovery and business-continuity designs.\nSupport Public Cloud cost and consumption optimisation within the client’s retained FinOps governance and Flexera operating model.\nIdentify architectural risks, technical debt, lifecycle issues, dependencies and opportunities for standardisation or modernisation.\nSupport Public Cloud migration and transformation initiatives, including integration with the Hybrid Multi-Cloud migration factory.\nSupport the Azure China workstream where required, including landing-zone architecture, connectivity, security, recovery and operational-readiness considerations.\nEnsure proposed solutions integrate effectively with the client’s Private Cloud and Data Center environments rather than creating isolated cloud silos.\nWork within the client’s ServiceNow, CMDB/CSDM and governance model and ensure architecture can be translated into operable services.\nSupport architecture documentation, high-level and low-level design reviews, and architecture decision records where required.\nBring forward emerging Public Cloud capabilities and recommend where they can deliver measurable client value without creating unnecessary lock-in or complexity.\nThe technology environment you will work with\nYour scope will include technologies and capabilities such as:\nMicrosoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.\nAzure China.\nEnterprise cloud landing zones.\nAzure ExpressRoute and Google Cloud Interconnect.\nCloud networking, routing and firewall integration.\nIdentity federation, PIM/PAM and role-based access.\nTerraform and Infrastructure-as-Code.\nGitHub and Azure DevOps integration.\nCloud automation and API-driven provisioning.\nKubernetes and cloud-native platform services.\nMonitoring, logging and observability.\nLogicMonitor and cloud-native monitoring integration.\nServiceNow and CMDB/CSDM integration.\nFlexera and cloud cost-management capabilities.\nBackup, resilience and disaster recovery.\nSecurity posture management and policy compliance.\nHybrid and Multi-Cloud architecture.\nWe are not looking for someone who simply knows how to deploy Azure or Google Cloud services. We need someone who understands how Public Cloud should operate inside a highly governed, security-sensitive, global enterprise, and how cloud architecture becomes a repeatable, supportable managed service.\nWhat we are looking for\nIdeally, you bring:\nSignificant experience as a Public Cloud Architect, Enterprise Architect, Principal Architect or equivalent senior technical leader.\nDeep enterprise-scale experience with Microsoft Azure.\nStrong experience with Google Cloud Platform and multi-cloud operating environments.\nExperience designing and evolving enterprise landing zones and cloud foundations.\nStrong understanding of cloud networking, hybrid connectivity and enterprise network integration.\nStrong understanding of IAM, privileged access, cloud security and governance.\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly Terraform, and modern automation practices.\nStrong understanding of cloud-native architecture, containers and Kubernetes.\nExperience designing resilient and recoverable cloud platforms and services.\nExperience operating in environments with strict security, sovereignty, data-residency and compliance requirements.\nUnderstanding of FinOps, cloud consumption and cost optimisation.\nExperience integrating cloud services with enterprise ITSM, CMDB, observability and operational processes.\nStrong understanding of Hybrid Multi-Cloud architecture.\nExperience working within formal enterprise architecture and design-governance processes.\nExcellent consulting and stakeholder-management skills.\nThe confidence to challenge technical proposals constructively while respecting client decision rights.\nWhat will make you successful\nSuccess will not be measured by how many Azure or Google Cloud services you know.
