This role will enhance delivery consistency, reduce reliance on ad hoc support, and improve security, compliance, and cost efficiency for cloud storage services while supporting application onboarding at scale.\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign and implement standardized cloud storage architectures across public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)\nDevelop and enforce governance, security, and compliance controls for cloud storage services\nSupport application onboarding, ensuring alignment with storage standards and best practices\nEngineer and manage cloud-native storage patterns, including:\nObject storage (S3, Blob, GCS)\nFile services (managed NFS/SMB)\nBlock storage for cloud workloads\nOptimize cost, performance, and scalability of cloud storage solutions\nBuild and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates (Terraform) for consistent deployments\nAutomate provisioning and lifecycle management of storage resources\nPartner with DevOps and platform teams to integrate storage into CI/CD pipelines\nMonitor usage and enforce cost management and optimization strategies\nDrive standardization and continuous improvement across cloud storage services\nKey Responsibilities\nEstablish reference architectures and design standards for cloud storage\nImplement policy-driven governance (security, access controls, encryption, retention)\nEnable self-service provisioning capabilities for application teams\nEnsure alignment with enterprise risk, security, and compliance frameworks\nSupport multi-cloud and hybrid storage integration patterns\nProvide technical guidance and support for large-scale cloud adoption initiatives\nBasic Qualifications\n3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or storage engineering\nHands-on experience with at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)\nUnderstanding of cloud storage services (object, file, block)\nMinimum Qualifications\n5+ years of experience designing and managing cloud-based storage solutions\nStrong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred)\nKnowledge of security, compliance, and governance frameworks in cloud environments\nExperience supporting application onboarding and cloud adoption at scale\nFamiliarity with cost optimization and cloud financial management (FinOps)\nExperience integrating solutions into CI/CD pipelines\nDesired Qualifications\nMulti-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)\nKnowledge of data lifecycle management, backup, and archival strategies\nExperience with Kubernetes and container storage integrations\nFamiliarity with observability and monitoring tools\nBackground in large enterprise or regulated environments\nKey Skills\nCloud architecture and design\nStorage engineering (object, file, block)\nTerraform / Infrastructure-as-Code\nGovernance, risk, and compliance\nCost optimization and FinOps\nAutomation and scripting (Python preferred)\nCross-functional collaboration\nJob Expectations\nDeliver scalable, secure, and standardized cloud storage solutions\nEnable consistent and repeatable deployments through automation\nImprove governance, cost control, and operational efficiency\nSupport enterprise cloud adoption and modernization initiatives\nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
