related AWS data services.\n\nYour main responsibilities will include: Administering and supporting Amazon Redshift production environments.\n\n• Managing clusters, databases, schemas, users, roles, permissions, and security configurations.\n\n• Monitoring and optimizing SQL queries and analytical workloads.\n\n• Optimizing distribution, sort strategies, statistics, storage, WLM, and concurrency.\n\n• Managing snapshots, restore, and data recovery processes.\n\n• Monitoring Redshift and AWS services using Amazon CloudWatch and observability tools.\n\n• Troubleshooting performance, connectivity, permissions, workloads, storage, and availability issues.\n\n• Supporting ETL/ELT processes and integrations with Data Engineering teams.\n\n• Managing AWS networking components including VPC, Security Groups, endpoints, DNS, and SSL/TLS.\n\n• Automating operational activities using SQL, Python, and/or Bash.\n\n• Implementing infrastructure using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.\n\n• Supporting Git-based and CI/CD processes for database and data platform changes.\n\n• Participating in Incident, Problem, Change, Security, and Disaster Recovery processes.🔎 What We’re Looking For\n\n✔ Hands-on experience administering Amazon Redshift in production environments.\n\n✔ Strong SQL skills and experience with query and workload performance tuning.\n\n✔ Solid knowledge of Amazon Redshift architecture and administration.\n\n✔ Experience managing users, roles, permissions, and database security.\n\n✔ Practical knowledge of AWS IAM.\n\n✔ Experience with Amazon CloudWatch and AWS monitoring tools.\n\n✔ Knowledge of snapshots, restore, and data recovery mechanisms.\n\n✔ Knowledge of AWS networking: VPC, Security Groups, DNS, endpoints, and SSL/TLS.\n\n✔ Experience with ETL/ELT and data ingestion processes.\n\n✔ Automation experience using Python and/or Bash.\n\n✔ Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.\n\n✔ Familiarity with GitHub, Bitbucket, and CI/CD processes.\n\n✔ Advanced spoken and written English – Mandatory, as you will collaborate with international teams and stakeholders.⭐ Nice to Have Amazon
