Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nWork closely with VP Global Sales Engineering and execute the overall strategy for the APAC region Solutions & Sales Engineering team in alignment with company goals and objectives.\nLead, mentor, and manage a team of highly skilled solutions and sales engineers in different APAC region countries, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nOversee the design, development, and delivery of complex Electrical and Mechanical solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.\nDrive innovation within the Solutions & Sales Engineering team, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.\nWorks with the Product team and assists in facility space planning and management.\nDemonstrates expert understanding of data center design concepts and differentiators (liquid cooling, maintainable fault tolerant power, security redundancy, etc.).\nReviews lease terms and aligns with the customer’s technical requirements.\nEnsure effective communication and coordination between the Solutions & Sales Engineering team and other departments\nWork closely with sales, product management, design, construction, operations and customer support teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions and successful project delivery.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nStrong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.\nExceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.\nA thorough understanding of modern data center and IT client requirements and environments with a primary focus on wholesale customers and their data center requirements.\nComfortable to evaluate and delve deep into any electrical & mechanical concepts and single line diagrams and work with customer technical teams to integrate their requirements into our data centers.\nEngages customers to extract critical technical and business drivers that may position client deliverables.\nEffective at working with 3rd party contractors and vendors to aid in the design of large customer infrastructure deployment requirements.\nExcellent problem solver/creative thinker.\nComfortable speaking/presenting to groups of all sizes.\nProficient with software application such as AutoCAD, CFD Modeling, Visio, Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Outlook, SharePoint and Salesforce.\nAble to work in a team/cross-team/multi-site environment.\nManages stress and/or fast-pace effectively.\nAbility to develop and write a bill of materials and scope of work to meet large customer infrastructure deployment requirements.\nMaintains familiarity with competitive offerings to effectively position products and solutions in a competitive environment.\nMust possess effective oral and written communications and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nMust be a master storyteller and presenter.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nFour-year college engineering degree or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited institution, and registered professional engineer.
