Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Manager, Internal Auditing plays a key management role in delivering the Internal Audit plan, overseeing audit execution, monitoring compliance, presenting insights, and recommending practical improvements to strengthen the control environment.\nThis role has a strong focus on audits across the Group’s corporate function portfolio and requires an individual with experience assessing second-line governance, risk management, compliance, oversight, policy, and enterprise support processes within a complex global environment.\nYou will provide assurance over compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, internal policies, and standards, while partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality, risk-based assurance and insight across the assigned portfolio.\nAs a people leader, you will foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, while supporting the development of a high-performing internal audit team.\nKey responsibilities:\nPlan and scope internal audits, including objectives, risks, and audit approach.\n\nSupport and deliver audits across the corporate function portfolio, including second-line activities and oversight processes.\n\nAssess the design and operating effectiveness of governance, risk management, compliance, monitoring, reporting, escalation, and policy-related controls.\n\nRemains current with auditing best practice and legislation to advise on the analysis and review of a variety of areas in the business depending on the scope identified in the audit plan.\n\nEvaluate whether corporate functions are effectively discharging their oversight responsibilities and contributing to a strong control environment.\n\nOversees the work of a team of auditors to ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery of audit work.\n\nReview and finalise audit reports, assess management action plans, and monitor remediation progress.\n\nPresent audit findings, themes, and recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee.\n\nCoordinate effectively with external auditors and other assurance providers.\n\nSupport senior managers on portfolio priorities, emerging risks, and audit planning activities.\n\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nStrong management capability, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.\n\nStrong internal audit knowledge, sound judgement, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nA good understanding of business processes and the broader industry environment.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex matters clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.\n\nStrong stakeholder management capability and the confidence to engage constructively with senior leaders.\n\nThe ability to operate effectively in a global matrix environment.\n\nA strong understanding of second-line operating models, including governance, risk management, compliance, oversight, monitoring, and policy implementation.\n\nThe ability to assess governance-based and oversight-based control environments, not only transactional or operational controls.\n\nThe ability to identify practical, risk-based improvement opportunities across complex and cross-functional environments.\n\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor's or equivalent degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field.\n\nCertification - Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or related designation.\n\nRequired experience:\nAdvanced internal audit management experience in a related environment, including leading teams and delivering audit outcomes.\n\nStrong experience in regulatory, financial, risk, and compliance audit environments.\n\nDemonstrated experience managing audits, driving improvement, and supporting a strong control culture.\n\nExperience auditing corporate functions, governance processes, and second-line risk, compliance, or oversight activities.\n\nExperience assessing policies, standards, oversight structures, reporting, monitoring, and escalation processes in complex organisations.\n\nExperience engaging with senior stakeholders across multiple functional areas in a global or matrix environment.\n\nWhy join us\nThis is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in strengthening governance and risk management across a diverse and evolving corporate function portfolio.
