The role is responsible for supporting end users, troubleshooting incidents, assisting with service requests, and contributing to the stability and performance of Microsoft-based environments. Working closely with customers and internal teams, the engineer helps resolve technical issues, supports ongoing project delivery, and contributes to continuous service improvement.\nKey responsibilities:\nProvides technical support to users and administrators across Microsoft technologies and enterprise platforms.\nSupports and contributes to the growth of best practices for the delivery of support services.\nUtilises Microsoft infrastructure, cloud, and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues and ensure service availability.\nActs as a customer advocate, prioritising and managing assigned incidents, service requests, and escalations.\nCollaborates with operations, engineering, and project teams to improve support processes and accelerate issue resolution.\nAssists with system monitoring, maintenance activities, and service improvement initiatives.\nMaintains accurate documentation, knowledge articles, and operational records.\nPerforms any other related tasks as required.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nDeveloping knowledge of Microsoft cloud and infrastructure technologies.\nDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in enterprise environments.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Exchange Online, Teams, or related Microsoft technologies.\nExposure to network monitoring and management tools.\nDeveloping understanding of networking concepts and protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP, FTP/SFTP, SOAP, and REST.\nDeveloping understanding of XML, JSON, and Regular Expressions (RegEx).\nBasic understanding of scripting or automation concepts such as PowerShell is desirable.\nGood understanding of database and application support concepts.\nDeveloping understanding of ITSM, CMDB, and ITIL processes.\nExperience analysing log files and performing root cause troubleshooting.\nFamiliarity with incident, problem, change, and escalation management processes.\nStrong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field.\nRelevant ITIL certification.\nRequired experience:\nModerate level experience providing customer-facing technical support.\nModerate level experience supporting Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Exchange Online, Teams, or related platforms.\nModerate level experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments.\nExperience providing SaaS or managed services support is desirable.\nWorkplace type:\nOn-site WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
