The role is responsible for designing and evolving resilient network architectures, defining operational standards, supporting complex escalations, and ensuring network services remain secure, scalable, highly available, and aligned with business and infrastructure requirements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and govern enterprise L2/L3 network architectures.\nDefine and maintain network standards for BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, high availability, and SDN-integrated environments.\nProvide architectural guidance for data center, cloud-connected, and hybrid network infrastructures.\nLead complex network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and major incident resolution activities.\nDevelop resilient network design patterns and operational frameworks for implementation and support teams.\nSupport and optimize Cisco Nexus switching environments and Perle IOLAN console server infrastructure.\nReview network performance, scalability, resilience, and capacity requirements.\nCollaborate with security, cloud, compute, and storage teams to ensure end-to-end infrastructure integration.\nMaintain architecture documentation, standards, governance processes, and best practices.\nRequired Qualifications:\nExtensive experience designing and supporting enterprise and data center network infrastructures.\nDeep expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, and high-availability architectures.\nStrong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, SDN technologies, and modern network design principles.\nExperience with Cisco Nexus platforms and data center networking environments.\nFamiliarity with Perle IOLAN console server solutions and operational management practices.\nProven ability to lead complex technical escalations and architecture engagements.\nStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nPreferred Certifications:\nCisco CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure\nCisco CCIE Data Center\nCisco Nexus and Data Center specialist certifications\nAdditional Security, Network, Storage, or Compute infrastructure certifications are advantageous\nLanguage Requirement:\nGerman language proficiency at minimum B2 level is mandatory.\nThe role requires the ability to participate in technical discussions, incident coordination, service reviews, change management activities, and day-to-day communication with German-speaking stakeholders, customer teams, operational contacts, and site personnel.\nCitizenship Requirement:\nApplicants must hold Swiss citizenship.\nLocation:\nWinterthur area, Switzerland\nCandidates should be based in, or regularly available within the Winterthur region to support local operational alignment, customer engagement, coordination with onsite and remote-hands teams, and participation in governance, escalation, architecture, and service review meetings as required.\nWorkplace type:\nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
