The role is responsible for maintaining stable and reliable cloud platform services through incident management, service requests, platform administration, health checks, and standard change activities while ensuring appropriate escalation of complex architectural or control-plane issues.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAdminister and support OpenStack and Kubernetes/container platforms in a production environment.\nPerform day-2 operational activities, including incident resolution, service requests, health checks, and routine maintenance.\nTroubleshoot container runtime, platform, and infrastructure-related issues.\nExecute standard operational changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities following established procedures.\nMonitor platform performance, availability, and service health.\nMaintain operational documentation, procedures, and service records.\nCollaborate closely with Linux and baremetal infrastructure teams to ensure end-to-end platform stability.\nEscalate complex issues to specialist engineering teams when deeper architecture or control-plane expertise is required.\nRequired Qualifications:\nExperience supporting OpenStack, Kubernetes, or container-based platforms in an enterprise environment.\nGood understanding of cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, Linux systems, and operational support processes.\nExperience with incident management, troubleshooting, monitoring, and service operations.\nStrong analytical skills and a proactive approach to maintaining service reliability.\nAbility to work within structured operational and service management frameworks.\nPreferred Certifications:\nCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)\nCertified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)\nOpenStack administration training/certification (e.g., Red Hat OpenStack Platform Administration)\nAdditional Security, Network, Storage, or Compute infrastructure certifications are advantageous\nLanguage Requirement:\nGerman language proficiency at minimum B2 level is mandatory.\nThe role requires the ability to effectively participate in technical discussions, incident coordination, service reviews, change management activities, and day-to-day communication with German-speaking stakeholders, customers, and operational teams.\nCitizenship Requirement:\nApplicants must hold Swiss citizenship.\nLocation:\nWinterthur area, Switzerland\nCandidates should be based in, or regularly available within, the Winterthur region to support customer engagement, operational coordination, onsite and remote-hands activities, governance meetings, and escalation management when required.\nWorkplace type:\nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
