Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Procurement / Purchasing Analyst is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for analyzing market outlooks and determines when and what to buy when contracting with vendors, ordering supplies, or making a big investment in a product, or technology, etc.\nThis role participates in the development and implementation of short-term strategies to procure / purchase commodities across all categories.\nKey responsibilities:\nServes as the liaison between the business and vendors.\nSources and screens vendors, negotiating contracts and presenting deals to decision makers.\nReviews and processes requisitions to ensure timely order submission and negotiates costs, delivery schedules and contract terms.\nAnalyzes documented comparative costs submitted by suppliers in the RFP process.\nAgrees pricing and performance standards through contracts with suppliers.\nInspects and tests samples of products and services of vendors and documenting features and benefits of each product, using this information to make the final purchasing decision.\nResponsible for documenting the costs for all assigned vendors, as well as generating monthly cost reports to present to stakeholders.\nRecommends sourcing strategies to leadership and monitors, pursues and executes tactical and strategic initiatives as assigned.\nAdministers trends and market conditions and maintain efficient flow of information for all materials.\nPrepares recommendations on the design of various cost savings programs and identifies new suppliers.\nMonitors order fulfilment against purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nSpecialist at the cost-benefit analysis process.\nGood negotiation skills with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with suppliers/vendors.\nSolid knowledge of the relevant quality standards related to products and services.\nGood organisational skills.\nAbility to remain calm under stress and operate in a high-pressure environment.\nGood team skills, both as a leader and as a team player.\nGood communication skills, especially related to facilitation, documentation and reporting.\nExcellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent in business, supply chain management, or a related field.\nProfessional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM).\nRequired experience:\nSeasoned experience working in the field and related procurement / purchasing operational experience.\nExperience conducting cost-benefit analysis.\nSeasoned experience in using procurement modules for managing purchase orders, supplier information, and contract management.\nSeasoned experience in evaluating the vendors that work with a company based on the vendors price, quality, and availability.\nWorkplace type:\nHybrid WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
