Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Scrum Master is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for guiding and coaching teams in the use of Scrum / Agile practices.\nThe primary responsibility of this role is to boost the effectiveness of teams by managing key projects, championing cross team alignment and delivering success and operationalizing underlying processes to make development teams hum effectively.\nThe Scrum Masters resolves impediments, monitors and has control over the scrum processes and meetings.\nKey responsibilities:\nFosters a self-organizing and empowered environment that enables teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.\nFacilitates and leads Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.\nEnsures that teams adhere to the Scrum framework, follows agile best practices, and utilizes appropriate tools and metrics to track progress, identifies bottlenecks, and drives continuous improvement.\nFosters effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, product owners, and stakeholders.\nActs as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of the project goals, priorities, and timelines.\nProactively addresses any conflicts or challenges that may hinder team performance and delivery.\nCollaboratively identifies and synchronizes project interdependencies across multiple teams. Facilitates effective resource allocation across the programs.\nDrives the continuous improvement of agile processes, methodologies, and tools across the organization. Identifies and implements process enhancements to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality of deliverables.\nEncourages innovation to foster a culture of continuous leading and growth.\nEnsures the program benefits remain viable throughout the program, communicating status and date changes and actively manage dependencies.\nBuilds strong relationships with key stakeholders and manages these expectations regarding project scope, timelines, and deliverables.\nCollaborates closely with product owners to prioritize backlog items and ensures alignment with business goals.\nProvides regular project status updates and communicates any risks or impediments that may impact project success.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nAbility to recognize the importance of working through others within the team through engaging and empowering others to use as much of their own capabilities as possible, thereby fostering trust and high energy to succeed.\nHas drive and energy to get the job done.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAssertive with the ability to come up with solutions to critical situations.\nAbility to make timely decisions and take calculated risks.\nSeasoned knowledge of other Agile approaches such as XP, Kanban, Scrum, extreme Programming (XP).\nSeasoned knowledge of the technologies used by the team.\nAbility to coordinate large teams with cross-functional dependencies.\nProactive and organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment providing consistent, high-quality output.\nAbility to facilitate discussions to allow the team to consider alternative solutions or approaches and bring disagreements out into the open to help to manage them collaboratively.\nAbility to stimulate and relish change, adapt quickly and see change as an opportunity.\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent in Project Management or related field.\nRelevant certifications such as SAFe Scrum Master or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master preferred.\nOther related certifications and/or training (for example - SAFe DeVos, Implementing SAFe etc.).\nRequired experience:\nSeasoned Scrum Master experience in an ICT environment, managing software projects and working with software development teams.\nSeasoned experience in Scrum Management.\nSeasoned experience of Agile concepts and principles.\nSeasoned experience as a coach and mentor in agile practices (Scrum, Kanban etc.).\nSeasoned experience with contemporary software development methodologies.\nSeasoned experience with widely successful Agile techniques such as User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.\nWorkplace type:\nHybrid WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
