The role involves administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of the Splunk platform to ensure continuous log collection, security event monitoring, compliance, and operational availability.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform daily health checks of Splunk Services, Indexers, Search Heads, and Universal Forwarders.\nMonitor and validate log ingestion from security devices, servers, applications, databases, and network infrastructure.\nReview Splunk license utilization and ensure platform capacity management.\nMonitor forwarder connectivity and troubleshoot data collection issues.\nReview audit logs and validate scheduled searches, alerts, and correlation rules.\nMonitor disk utilization, index health, and platform performance.\nInvestigate and resolve Splunk internal errors, search failures, and performance issues.\nPerform daily/weekly backup and restoration validation of Splunk configurations.\nSupport SOC operations, threat monitoring, incident investigation, and compliance requirements.\nMaintain operational documentation and security reports.\nRequired Qualifications\nRegular B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline.\nMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Splunk Administration, SIEM Operations, or SOC environments.\nStrong knowledge of Splunk Enterprise, Enterprise Security (ES), Universal Forwarders, Indexers, Search Heads, and Distributed Architecture.\nExperience with Linux/Unix administration, log management, cybersecurity monitoring, and incident response processes.\nExposure to Banking, BFSI, Data Centre, SOC, or Critical Infrastructure environments is preferred.\nPreferred Certifications\nSplunk Enterprise Certified Admin\nSplunk Enterprise Security Certified Admin\nSplunk Core Certified Power User\nCompTIA Security+\nEC-Council Certified SOC Analyst (CSA)\nCEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or CISSP (Preferred)\nWorkplace type:\nOn-site WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
