Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Senior Bridge Engineer (BrSE) is a seasoned bilingual IT professional, responsible for leading and coordinating product and outsourcing projects for Japanese clients across industries such as logistics, healthcare, and e-commerce.\nThe primary responsibility of the Senior BrSE is to act as a communication bridge between Japanese clients and the development team in Vietnam, ensuring smooth project execution from initial requirement analysis to final delivery and client handover. .\nKey responsibilities:\nParticipate in product and outsourcing projects for Japanese clients in diverse fields including logistics, healthcare, and e-commerce.\nCoordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution.\nEnsure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.\nDevelop project scopes and objectives with stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility.\nEnsure resource availability and allocation.\nDevelop detailed project plans to track progress.\nManage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques.\nMeasure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.\nReport and escalate issues to management as needed.\nManage relationships with clients and all stakeholders.\nPerform risk management to minimize project risks.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation.\nPerforms any other related task as required.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nStrong understanding of software development processes and project management methodologies.\nExcellent Japanese communication skills (JLPT N2 or higher).\nGood English communication skills (verbal and written).\nProven ability to manage client relationships and expectations.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.\nHigh cultural sensitivity and adaptability to Japanese business practices.\nProactive, self-driven, and committed to delivering high-quality results.\nFamiliarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, and project collaboration platforms.\nExperience in IT outsourcing or product development projects with Japanese clients is a plus.\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related fields.\nProject management certifications (e.g., PMP) are preferred.\nJapanese language certifications (e.g., JLPT N2 or above) are highly desirable.\nRequired experience:\nSolid experience in IT project coordination or software development.\nExperience working with Japanese clients or in Japanese business environments.\nDemonstrated ability to manage project scope, timeline, and client communications.\nExperience in requirement analysis and translating business needs into technical specifications.\nProven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction.\nWorkplace type:\nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
