Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Networking Managed Services Engineer (L2) is a developing engineering role, responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational through proactively monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems and restoring service to clients.The primary objective of this role is to proactively review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreement (SLA) and focuses on second-line support for incidents and requests with a medium level of complexity.\nThe Networking Managed Services Engineer (L2) may also contribute to / support on project work as and when required.\nWhat you'll be doing\nKey Responsibilities:\nSwitching & Routing:\n* Hands on experience with IOS/SUP upgradation 5K/7K/9K/4500/6500/ASR.\n* DC handling experience will be an added advantage.\n* Router / switch complete knowledge to replace with production device.\n* Should have hardware level trouble shooting knowledge (device hardware failure, line cars, sup engine, high CPU).\n* Must have sound knowledge in stack configuration / trouble shooting.\n* Must have trouble shooting knowledge in switch / routing.\n* Should have knowledge about SDWAN, ISE.\n* Must be familiar with - VLAN / VTP / STP / VSS / VDC / VPC.\n* Must be familiar with - OSPF / EIGRP / BGP / PBR / HSRP / ACL.\n* Wireless & SDWAN knowledge will be an added advantage.\nNetwork Devices:\nN7K-C7010 - N7K-SUP2E\nN5K-C5548UP / N5K-C5596UP / N5K-C5672UP\nN9K-C93108TC-FX / N9K-C9396PX\nCisco Catalyst C6500/C6800 Family\nCisco Catalyst 9000 Family\nCisco Catalyst 4500 Family\nCisco Catalyst 3800/3600 Product Family\nCisco Catalyst 3750X / 3560X / 2960X / 2960 Plus Product Family\nASR1000 Product Family\nISR4000 Product Family\n Academic Qualifications and Certifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).\nCCNP or equivalent certification.\nCertifications relevant to the services provided (certifications carry additional weightage on a candidate’s qualification for the role).\nWorkplace type:\nOn-site WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
