Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Senior Manager, Consulting is a senior management role, responsible for managing a sustainable and profitable consulting services practice aligned to the strategy of the overall business.\nThis role creates and operationalizes delivery processes for technology consulting services to ensure that all aspects of enterprise technology strategies and solutions meet the client’s requirements.\nThis role will also will proactively identify and drive continuous improvement of consulting services strategies and standards in order to ensure the clients’ requirements are met.\nThis senior management role is responsible for fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture across the consulting team(s) within their remit.\nKey responsibilities:\nEnsures the delivery and optimization of consulting services activities and initiatives.\nResponsible for preparing and presenting consulting services reports to senior leadership.\nMaintains awareness of the external consulting services environment by analyzing industry trends.\nProactively identifies and drives continuous improvement of consulting services strategies and standards in order to ensure the clients’ requirements are met.\nLeverages their relationship skills and knowledge of the client environment to assist and influence the client.\nUses understanding of business objectives, market trends and client requirements to contribute to the development of a consulting service practice and that is aligned to the business strategy and goals and builds a seamless service operation.\nExecutes business plans, monitoring performance and managing expectations to achieve best business results.\nWorks with internal stakeholders to execute a sustainable enterprise technology program.\nEnsures that the required process, policies and tools relating to financial, people, marketing and delivery management are in place.\nOversees the delivery of client requirements against agreed contracts for relevant consulting areas.\nMonitors the performance of a team of professional consultants to ensure achievement of consulting practice and overall business goals.\nProvides business advice and consultation services to clients when required.\nWorks with internal stakeholders to set annual growth targets and manage the internal organizational impacts on the team in terms of resourcing, financing and up skilling.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nDeep knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs.\nStrong understanding of the vast range of IT operations and organizational service offerings.\nDemonstrate strong levels of client engagement.\nService orientated with the ability to manage client value whilst maintaining profitable business results.\nDisplays an in-depth understanding of the product’s functionality and capability and how it is applied to solve client’s problems.\nHas superior decision-making skills and assertiveness.\nExcellent collaboration skills and able to interact professionally at all levels internally and externally.\nWell-developed strategic thinking capability and good analytical skills.\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology and/or Business Management or a related field.\nScaled Agile certification desirable.\nRelevant consulting and technical certifications preferred.\nRequired experience:\nExtended level of relevant experience in similar role within a related environment.\nExtended previous experience operationally managing and leading a consulting or related team.\nExtended experience dealing with clients and managing service levels.\nExtended stakeholder engagement experience at all levels in the organization.\nExtended project management experience.\nWorkplace type:\nOn-site WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
