Solution Design & Implementation\nDesign and implement Salesforce solutions primarily using Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud, based on approved business requirements.\n\nTranslate business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions, balancing standard configuration and custom development (Apex) appropriately.\n\nApply a configuration-first mindset, using code only when standard capabilities are insufficient.\n\nClearly explain design decisions, trade-offs, and limitations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\n2. Performance, Limits & Quality Mindset\nDesign solutions with strong awareness of Salesforce governor limits, data volume, and performance considerations.\n\nAvoid over-engineering and unnecessary complexity in Flows, Apex, and automation.\n\nProactively identify potential performance or scalability risks and propose sustainable alternatives.\n\n3. Validation, Testing & UAT Support (Ownership-based)\nTake ownership of implemented solutions by validating functionality against requirements and test cases.\n\nSupport System Test (ST) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by:\nExecuting relevant test scenarios for your own implementations\n\nReproducing issues and validating fixes\n\nEnsuring correct behavior across roles, permissions, and data conditions\n\nCollaborate closely with QA and business users to ensure solution quality and clarity.\n\n4. Integration & Enterprise Collaboration\nUnderstand and work within an ERP-integrated Salesforce environment (e.g., SAP or other ERP systems).\n\nSupport the design and clarification of integration behaviors, data synchronization, and error-handling scenarios.\n\nWork effectively with global stakeholders (e.g., Japan / international teams), respecting governance, documentation, and communication standards.\n\n5. Internal Team & Long-Term Platform Growth\nContribute as a long-term internal team member, helping improve overall platform health, maintainability, and team capability.\n\nShare knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned within the Salesforce team.\n\nSupport continuous improvement of development, testing, and deployment standards.\n\nQualifications and Experience:\nSalesforce Knowledge & Certifications\n\n3-7 years of hands-on Salesforce experience.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud (mandatory).\n\nSalesforce Administrator OR Salesforce Developer certification is required (one is sufficient).\n\nSales Cloud and/or Experience Cloud certification is a strong plus.\n\nExperience with Manufacturing Cloud is a significant advantage.\n\nTechnical & Functional Skills\n\nAbility to design solutions using both Salesforce configuration and Apex, with sound judgment on when to use each.\n\nSolid understanding of:\nSalesforce data model\n\nAutomation tools (Flow, Validation Rules, etc.)\n\nGovernor limits, thresholds, and performance constraints\n\nExperience working in enterprise Salesforce implementations, particularly in Sales, Manufacturing, or ERP-integrated environments.\n\nExperience Profile\n\nProven track record of successful Salesforce implementations for enterprise customers.\n\nNumber of years of experience is less important than demonstrated capability, mindset, and practical judgment.\n\nCandidates who have transitioned from ERP or manufacturing domains into Salesforce are welcome.\n\nCommunication & Collaboration\n\nGood communication skills in English or Japanese (one is sufficient; both are a plus).\n\nComfortable explaining solutions, constraints, and issues clearly to diverse stakeholders.\n\nWorkplace type:\nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
