Serving as an advanced technical escalation resource, this role leads the implementation of improvements that enhance platform reliability, operational performance, security, and cost efficiency. Through proactive guidance, automation, and cloud optimization strategies, this role empowers customers to fully leverage their Azure environments while achieving their business and technical objectives.\nKey responsibilities:\nDesign, support, optimize, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure enhanced availability, performance, reliability, and security.\nConduct advanced troubleshooting, service review, and root cause investigations to identify issues, minimize business impact, and ensure the timely resolution of incidents and service disruptions.\nImplement infrastructure changes and enhancements while ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations.\nMonitor systems proactively, respond to alerts and notifications, and take appropriate actions to maintain service health and stability.\nAutomate operational tasks and processes using Azure Automation, Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, Bash, and PowerShell scripting to improve efficiency and consistency.\nUtilize Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices with tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, and Bicep to deploy and manage cloud environments.\nDevelop and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance system reliability, operational efficiency, and customer experience.\nConduct infrastructure health assessments, right-sizing exercises, and cost optimization reviews to maximize performance and cloud investment value.\nValidate and maintain the security standards of cloud environments in accordance with security best practices and compliance requirements.\nDeploy, manage, and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.\nLeverage knowledge of networking, SQL, Linux, and Windows Server technologies to support and enhance cloud platforms.\nProvide technical guidance and escalation support to Level 1 engineers and assist in resolving complex incidents.\nSupport business-critical situations and ensure issues are escalated appropriately to Level 3 Support or Service Delivery teams in line with service commitments and internal KPIs.\nPrepare issue resolution reports, customer recommendations, and technical reviews that drive operational improvements.\nReview and validate service review reports before submission to Customer Success Managers.\nSupport the onboarding and development of new team members and act as a technical reference for junior engineers.\nCollaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.\nMaintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and professional standards while contributing to a collaborative team culture.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, architecture, and cloud-native technologies.\nExperience with cloud application design patterns, modern infrastructure architectures, and cloud operational best practices.\nSolid understanding of compute, networking, storage, content delivery, database administration, security, and analytics services.\nGood understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS service models and their associated support requirements.\nHands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform and ARM Templates.\nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nWorking knowledge of CI/CD concepts, deployment automation, and cloud operations.\nFoundational knowledge of SQL, networking, Linux, and Windows Server administration.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and incident management capabilities across complex technical environments.\nAbility to understand diverse customer environments and align technical solutions with business needs.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.\nA proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence.\nEagerness to learn, adopt emerging technologies, and develop technical expertise.\nStrong attention to detail, accountability, adaptability, and a customer-centric approach.\nA collaborative, helpful, and team-oriented attitude.\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nMicrosoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Security Engineer Associate are highly desirable.\nRelevant certifications in cloud platforms, Infrastructure-as-Code, Kubernetes, automation, or IT service management are considered an advantage.\nCommitment to professional development through training, certifications, and learning.\nWorkplace type:\nOn-site WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
