Working closely with the QA Manager, Business Analysts, and development team, the QA Engineer ensures that all developed functionality is tested thoroughly, accurately, and in line with the quality standards set by the QA Manager and Practice.\nThe QA Engineer is an executor - their primary focus is on building and running test cases, contributing to the automated test framework, and providing timely, accurate feedback on quality across sprints and releases. They will cover development from the Practice, ATS, and automations teams, operating as part of the shared QA function.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across all ServiceNow development in line with the test plans defined by the QA Manager.\nWrite clear, well-structured test cases and test scripts based on user stories and acceptance criteria provided by the Business Analyst.\nContribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts within the ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework), expanding coverage across product domains.\nExecute regression testing ahead of each release and platform upgrade, using the automated test suite to validate platform stability.\nLog, track, and retest defects accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring developers receive clear, reproducible defect reports.\nSupport UAT coordination activities - setting up test environments, providing test data, and assisting business stakeholders through test execution.\nMaintain test cases and test scripts in the shared test repository, keeping them up to date as platform changes are made.\nContribute to quality reporting by providing accurate test execution status, pass/fail rates, and defect metrics to the QA Manager.\nParticipate in sprint ceremonies - including backlog grooming and sprint reviews - to ensure testability is considered from story creation through to delivery.\nEssential Experience & Skills\nProven experience in a QA Engineer or software testing role within a ServiceNow or enterprise platform delivery environment.\nPractical experience using ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework) to build and execute automated test scripts.\nStrong skills in writing test cases and test scripts from user stories and acceptance criteria.\nExperience executing functional, regression, and integration testing within an agile delivery environment.\nAbility to write clear, reproducible defect reports and manage defects through to resolution.\nComfortable working across multiple product domains, picking up context quickly and adapting testing approaches accordingly.\nDesirable\nExperience with platform upgrade testing in ServiceNow, including regression test execution during upgrade cycles.\nFamiliarity with ISTQB Foundation or equivalent testing qualification.\nExposure to broader test automation tools or scripting in addition to ServiceNow ATF.\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent product knowledge.\nExperience supporting UAT with business stakeholders, including test environment setup and guidance through test execution.\nBehaviours & Competencies\nDetail-oriented - takes pride in thorough, accurate test coverage and clear defect reporting.\nReliable - consistently delivers test outputs on time and to the standard required by the QA Manager.\nCollaborative - works well with developers, BAs, and business stakeholders as part of a wider delivery team.\nCurious - proactively looks for edge cases, gaps in coverage, and quality risks beyond the immediate test plan.\nContinuous improver - actively contributes to building out the automated test suite and raising QA maturity over time.\nWorkplace type:\nHybrid WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
