Specialist is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for ensuring that client solution requirements are resolved in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).\nThis role performs configurations, actions installations and attends to break/fix events.\nThis role works towards associate to professional level certification, whilst at the same time developing business knowledge.\nKey responsibilities:\nCoordinate and manage end-to-end fibre and wireless installation projects from order handover to service activation.\nConduct site surveys and assess technical requirements, installation feasibility, and potential risks.\nLiaise with customers, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.\nSchedule and oversee installation activities, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines and service level commitments.\nMonitor vendor performance and escalate delays, quality issues, or implementation risks where necessary.\nEnsure all Health & Safety (H&S) requirements, permits, and compliance documentation are in place before installation commencement.\nTrack wayleave approvals, site access permissions, and third-party dependencies impacting project delivery.\nPerform quality assurance checks and validate installations against technical specifications and customer requirements.\nManage project documentation, progress updates, implementation reports, and handover records.\nTroubleshoot installation challenges and coordinate resolution with technical support teams and vendors.\nConduct customer acceptance testing (CAT) and facilitate successful service commissioning and activation.\nProvide regular status updates, issue logs, and escalation reports to management and stakeholders.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance installation efficiency, customer experience, and vendor performance.\nKnowledge and Attributes:\n\nDeveloping fundamental project and administration ability.\nDeveloping understanding and appreciation of technical design principles and compute layers.\nAbility to develop an understanding of fundamental project and administration experience:\nMinimum 3-5 years' experience in telecommunications, with a focus on fibre and wireless service delivery and installations.\nProven experience managing end-to-end fibre, microwave, and wireless implementation projects.\nExperience coordinating and managing third-party vendors, contractors, and field technicians.\nStrong understanding of fibre infrastructure deployment, including site surveys, civil works, trenching, fibre splicing, testing, and service activation.\nExperience with wireless network installations, including point-to-point (PTP) and point-to-multipoint (PTMP)
