You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of virtualized server environments and operating systems across on-premises platforms. The role spans VM provisioning and cluster management, OS configuration, patching, security hardening, user management and print/file services. You will work in a fast-paced managed services environment with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous improvement.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nProvision and configure virtual machines following defined build standards and processes \nManage hypervisor clusters - HA, DRS, vMotion, resource pools, snapshots and vCenter RBAC \nAdminister Windows Server and Linux OS - configuration, patching and CIS hardening \nManage user accounts, access permissions, SSH keys and certificate lifecycle \nConfigure and maintain vSwitch, VLAN and virtual network settings within the hypervisor environment \nBuild and maintain OS images and manage PXE-based re-imaging pipelines \nConfigure and maintain system services, scheduled tasks, file sharing, print server and SFTP infrastructure \nMaintain security posture - endpoint protection, firewall rules and compliance policy enforcement \nDeploy and maintain log collection agents across the server fleet \nManage disk partitions, volumes, filesystems and storage capacity \nContribute to automation initiatives and maintain operational runbooks and documentation \nRespond to and resolve infrastructure incidents within agreed service levels \nParticipate in change management and peer review of technical changes\nREQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES\nHypervisor administration - VMware vSphere / ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V and KVM \nvCenter management - clusters, resource pools, distributed switches, HA, DRS and vMotion \nVirtual machine provisioning, snapshot management and VM lifecycle operations \nvSwitch and VLAN configuration - virtual network management within hypervisor environments \nOS re-imaging - PXE boot, WDS and automated OS deployment pipelines \nWindows Server administration - Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS, Print Server and SFTP \nLinux administration - RHEL and Ubuntu; system configuration, service management and hardening \nOS patching and CIS hardening - enterprise patch management and compliance frameworks \nUser and access management - account provisioning, group management and privilege control \nInfrastructure as code - Terraform or equivalent for VM provisioning and configuration \nConfiguration management - Ansible or equivalent automation frameworks \nSecurity tools - endpoint protection, firewall management and compliance scanning \nFile sharing protocols - NFS, CIFS and SMB server and client configuration \nStorage management - LVM, disk partitioning, filesystem lifecycle and capacity optimisation \nCertificate lifecycle management and Windows Certificate Authority \nVersion control and code review - Git workflows and collaborative development practices\nAt least 5 to 10 years of working experience\nWorkplace type:\nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
